Just to give some closure to all of us. This starts from the last scene of the last episode in the hall.. and falls somewhere before the epilogue..

SurLie continued their confession in their room. That night,they just talked, with a slight flirting and a bit of being awkward from both of their end, cos this was definitely some un-chartered territory. Surya did tuck her hair once or twice, behind her ear, while she spoke and told him tales of her childhood & what all mischief she did while growing up. And she did touch his biceps or took his hand in hers unintentionally, while talking, much to him, feeling elated, but not making it obvious.

But there was a silent agreement somewhere, to take it slow, because they did have a lot of bridges to cross before reaching the next stage in their relationship.

But this author, feels proud in sharing with y’all, that they did, start sharing the bed from that day onwards, much to Surya’s unabashed happiness and much to Imlie’s trepidation, but what to do, It was our Imaliya’s idea afterall..

The next morning, while Imlie was in the kitchen, Surya gave her a rose (much embarrassed when Tai-amma saw him with a mischievous grin, plucking it from the garden, which she was tending to).

And before Imlie could respond anything, apart from a shy 'Thank you', Chachi walked into the kitchen with a teasing smile, and our Surya excused himself, fleeing away, before exchanging a meaningful glace with his beautiful wife..

And after spending a busy day in the police station, when our hero tried to seek his wife eagerly in the privacy of their room, CJ &Arjun Bro stopped him at the main entrance, teasing and pulling his leg, as to why did he return so early that day and why was he in so much haste to meet ‘certain someone’ ..

Throwing caution to the wind, and cheekily saying, “Dekha Jaata Crime Nai, Faaltu Baaton ke liye Time Nai”, he just went away and sought his wife, studying at her desk..

Before he could even reach her, as if sensing his presence, our gal turned around and gave him 1000 watts ka smile to her patidev.. and while both tried talking at once, Surya just casually dropped in, that he had plans for a outing & dinner, and she should get ready asap as the reservation has been made.

Imlie, being Imlie, thought it was a family get together, and hence started towards Chachi’s door to check what she was planning to wear, and just then, her husband turned her around, caught her waist and said, “Ye dinner sirf hum dono ka hai Imlie.. Agar tumko koi problem na ho toh, kya main sirf apne wife ke saath, kuch waqt akele spend kar sakta hai?”

Chiding herself and finally understanding the meaning or should this author say, the intent of the unspoken words, Imlie gave him a smile and told him that she would just be ready within 10 minutes..

Used to being told 10 min, and still wait for 30 min, our hero is just standing, taking the support of his jeep, scrolling on his phone. And when he looks up, he is left astound, with the way his wife is looking like an apsara, adorned with all the trinklets and wearing a red silk saree..

(Just then he gets a message on his cell, and it reads.. “Muh toh band karo Uncle!!”.. He looks here and there, spots Arjun in the window overhead, and gives him a threatening look that says, he shall end him if he catches him, which makes his kid bro, very cheekily smile and move away from the window)

Imlie and Surya reach towards the dinner venue.. which is more of a canopy situated in a vintage hotel, reserved for much privacy, amongst the glittering and shining stars, and a table for two, with all Imlie’s favorite dishes..

They eat, they talk, Surya flirts, and Imlie flirts back..(much to his glee) and just before Surya thinks that is all.. is when, Imlie pulls him, makes a garland of her arms around his neck, and initiates a kiss, the first of many.. many.. many.. many more to come….

As always, I return home late after a long day with friends on Saturday. Fun-filled moments, yet a heaviness lingered throughout.

Watching the episode and reading your posts stirred up so many emotions. Tears welled up and a lump formed in my throat.

Now to my last analysis:

Surya's relief as Imlie video called him, it felt like moment of peace restored within his soul. I absolutely love his trust in her and his unwavering belief in her goodness. Imlie’s voice even quivered when she said her "aage ki kahani jaane Radharani” at the end of the call. These are the little details that brings such depth to these performances.

When she held her hand against his mouth before revealing truth. It shows that she finally has to learnt to rely on his strength, instead of facing every problem on her own. For a second, I couldn’t help but smile whenever he got agitated and raised his voice. Imlie’s entire demeanour around him felt very domestic when she was shushing him.

Imlies have always been badass when it came to stunts, but Adrija just has a alag ka shtyle, she stand apart so strongly. Her and Sai have really impressed me with their dedication to action and dance sequences.

I’m not going to dwell on the Reddys or the villain duo. I’d rather focus on the glow our leads faces carried, finally free from guilt and fear.

The last scene was bittersweet. Surya and Imlie, were celebrating one of the first victory within the long journey they will share. Yet my heart aches for Agastya, he really deserved those 50+ years of happiness with Imlie 😭

Like many others, it's a unique experience for me as well to have someone write a poem about me, & thank you so much for it Shree..

Honestly, I know that many of y'all feel much more disheartened than I do, having followed every episode of the show, even the less enjoyable, more DDP ones. But, reading y'all's heartfelt posts, poems, and expressions of appreciation has got me teary-eyed..

Is there any way we could collectively erase our memories, rewind time, and relive the show from its inception??? I regret joining the forum so late yaar.. I still remember, my first post on this forum was about how they could never kill off Agastya as his name starts with an 'A'.. (Yeah.. I'm laughing at myself too)

I feel like I missed out on the camaraderie during the best days of our ship and the golden era of imlie3 and that's something I'll always.. always regret!!

I'm not quite ready to bid farewell yet but I just wanted to say thank you! 🥹

I know myself, I won’t be as present moving forward. I’ll pop up with an edit or a poem every once in a while whenever I can. It won’t happen instantly, but gradually I’ll be less active. ☹️

I’ll definitely have a boost of interactions after my rewatch, revisiting Agastya and Imlie’s adhuri kahani.

This community, nurtured alongside the AT, has woven itself into the fabric of my life over countless months.

Here, I've encountered friends akin to older sisters, generously imparting their life’s wisdom. There’s so much that I’ve learnt from all of you, I feel like I’m living up to my name finally.

It's been a stroke of luck to draw inspiration from our exchanges and the show itself, propelling me towards artistic creation.

Every moment spent with y’all in this AT has proven deeply cathartic for me.

I'm profoundly grateful to everyone for the laughter we've shared, the mutual upliftment of spirits, and the abundance of love that binds us together.

Who knows if we’ll find something like this again, but know that my best wishes will always be with Sai, Adrija and all of you if something new comes up.
