Sharada, I remember Sunaina, you and me discussing if we should join the AT to support Sai. However we weren’t sure if we will ever be able to invest in another ITV series or jodi like MHRW. But look at us now. You also ended up writing an OS.
I remember waking up early on Sundays to catch Ren and Sharada review of episode. one of most blissful moments I had ever found in this AT was when Ren and Sharada gave the update of contract marriage episode. It was a Sunday episode. The song " dulhe ka sehra suhana" sequence made me rewatch that episode multiple times that day

Truly this AT has been a blast - It is like we all are college friends who catch up gossiping about our favorite show. I did not have this much fun on any forum other than IPK. But the end of IPK was another wound in itself and I am really glad we got a decent ending here.

Yup I ended up writing 2 OS - Didn't know I could write something longer than 1 post. But loved the blast we had on this forum. A long way from the initial days on this forum.
mujhe first promo dekh ke hi samaj aa gaya tha show and jodi will click. It's how characters interact in the promo giveaway the chemistry part. We could see how an arrogant businessman was boasting about his money and the bar girl gave reply in the same manner. Fireworks toh hona hi tha.

Just to give some closure to all of us.
SurLie continued their confession in their room. That night,they just talked, with a slight flirting and a bit of being awkward from both of their end, cos this was definitely some un-chartered territory. Surya did tuck her hair once or twice, behind her ear, while she spoke and told him tales of her childhood & what all mischief she did while growing up. And she did touch his biceps or took his hand in hers unintentionally, while talking, much to him, feeling elated, but not making it obvious.
But there was a silent agreement somewhere, to take it slow, because they did have a lot of bridges to cross before reaching the next stage in their relationship.
But this author, feels proud in sharing with y’all, that they did, start sharing the bed from that day onwards, much to Surya’s unabashed happiness and much to Imlie’s trepidation, but what to do, It was our Imaliya’s idea afterall..
The next morning, while Imlie was in the kitchen, Surya gave her a rose (much embarrassed when Tai-amma saw him with a mischievous grin, plucking it from the garden, which she was tending to).
And before Imlie could respond anything, apart from a shy 'Thank you', Chachi walked into the kitchen with a teasing smile, and our Surya excused himself, fleeing away, before exchanging a meaningful glace with his beautiful wife..
And after spending a busy day in the police station, when our hero tried to seek his wife eagerly in the privacy of their room, CJ &Arjun Bro stopped him at the main entrance, teasing and pulling his leg, as to why did he return so early that day and why was he in so much haste to meet ‘certain someone’ ..
Throwing caution to the wind, and cheekily saying, “Dekha Jaata Crime Nai, Faaltu Baaton ke liye Time Nai”, he just went away and sought his wife, studying at her desk..
Before he could even reach her, as if sensing his presence, our gal turned around and gave him 1000 watts ka smile to her patidev.. and while both tried talking at once, Surya just casually dropped in, that he had plans for a outing & dinner, and she should get ready asap as the reservation has been made.
Imlie, being Imlie, thought it was a family get together, and hence started towards Chachi’s door to check what she was planning to wear, and just then, her husband turned her around, caught her waist and said, “Ye dinner sirf hum dono ka hai Imlie.. Agar tumko koi problem na ho toh, kya main sirf apne wife ke saath, kuch waqt akele spend kar sakta hai?”
Chiding herself and finally understanding the meaning or should this author say, the intent of the unspoken words, Imlie gave him a smile and told him that she would just be ready within 10 minutes..
Used to being told 10 min, and still wait for 30 min, our hero is just standing, taking the support of his jeep, scrolling on his phone. And when he looks up, he is left astound, with the way his wife is looking like an apsara, adorned with all the trinklets and wearing a red silk saree..
(Just then he gets a message on his cell, and it reads.. “Muh toh band karo Uncle!!”.. He looks here and there, spots Arjun in the window overhead, and gives him a threatening look that says, he shall end him if he catches him, which makes his kid bro, very cheekily smile and move away from the window)
Imlie and Surya reach towards the dinner venue.. which is more of a canopy situated in a vintage hotel, reserved for much privacy, amongst the glittering and shining stars, and a table for two, with all Imlie’s favorite dishes..
They eat, they talk, Surya flirts, and Imlie flirts back..(much to his glee) and just before Surya thinks that is all.. is when, Imlie pulls him, makes a garland of her arms around his neck, and initiates a kiss, the first of many.. many.. many.. many more to come….
