Yeah I remember we all were so nervous whether we will like Imlie3 as we had just come out of the disaster called as sugar syrup. I am so glad that we stuck here for Imlie and we got a good show and 2 awesome characters for Sai.

Yup I ended up writing 2 OS - Didn't know I could write something longer than 1 post. But loved the blast we had on this forum. A long way from the initial days on this forum.

Just to give some closure to all of us. This starts from the last scene of the last episode in the hall.. and falls somewhere before the epilogue..

SurLie continued their confession in their room. That night,they just talked, with a slight flirting and a bit of being awkward from both of their end, cos this was definitely some un-chartered territory. Surya did tuck her hair once or twice, behind her ear, while she spoke and told him tales of her childhood & what all mischief she did while growing up. And she did touch his biceps or took his hand in hers unintentionally, while talking, much to him, feeling elated, but not making it obvious.

But there was a silent agreement somewhere, to take it slow, because they did have a lot of bridges to cross before reaching the next stage in their relationship.

But this author, feels proud in sharing with y’all, that they did, start sharing the bed from that day onwards, much to Surya’s unabashed happiness and much to Imlie’s trepidation, but what to do, It was our Imaliya’s idea afterall..

The next morning, while Imlie was in the kitchen, Surya gave her a rose (much embarrassed when Tai-amma saw him with a mischievous grin, plucking it from the garden, which she was tending to).

And before Imlie could respond anything, apart from a shy 'Thank you', Chachi walked into the kitchen with a teasing smile, and our Surya excused himself, fleeing away, before exchanging a meaningful glance with his beautiful wife..

And after spending a busy day in the police station, when our hero tried to seek his wife eagerly in the privacy of their room, CJ & Arjun Bro stopped him at the main entrance, teasing and pulling his leg, as to why did he return so early that day and why was he in so much haste to meet ‘certain someone’ ..

Throwing caution to the wind, and cheekily saying, “Dekha Jaata Crime Nai, Faaltu Baaton ke liye Time Nai”, our hero just dashed away, leaving the two smiling khurafaatis in his wake, and sought his wife, in their room, who was found studying at her desk..

Before he could even reach her, as if sensing his presence, our gal turned around and gave him 1000 watts ka smile to her patidev.. and while both tried talking at once, Surya just casually dropped in, that he had plans for a outing & dinner, and she should get ready asap as the reservation has been already made.

Imlie, being Imlie, thought it was a family get together, and hence started towards Chachi’s door to check what she was planning to wear, and just then, her husband turned her around, caught her waist and said, “Ye dinner sirf hum dono ka hai Imlie.. Agar tumko koi problem na ho toh, kya main sirf apne wife ke saath, kuch waqt akele me, spend kar sakta hai?”

Chiding herself and finally understanding the meaning or should this author say, the intent of the unspoken words, Imlie gave him a smile and told him that she would just be ready within 10 minutes..

Used to being told 10 min, and still wait for 30 min, our hero is just standing, taking the support of his jeep, scrolling on his phone. And when he looks up, he is left astound, with the way his wife is looking like an apsara, adorned with all the trinklets and wearing a red silk saree..

(Just then he gets a message notification on his mobile, which reads.. “Muh toh band karo Uncle!!”.. He looks here and there, spots Arjun in the window overhead, and gives him a threatening look that says, he shall end him if he catches him, which makes his kid bro, very cheekily smile and move away from the window)

Imlie and Surya reach towards the dinner venue, on the way, listening to old hindi songs of then 70s-80s..

The dinner date is planned in a vintage hotel, and their table is placed, under a canopy situated separately, underneath the glittering and shining stars for the much required privacy.

There's all Imlie's favorite dishes, and she is surprised that Surya knew it all. They eat, they talk, Surya flirts, and Imlie flirts back..(much to his glee).

After dinner, just when Surya thinks that, this is all for the day, and begins to leave, is when, our Imaliya pulls him, makes a garland of her arms around his neck, and initiates a kiss, as sweet and as pure as the love, she has started feeling for him.

The kiss being the first of many.. many.. many.. and many more to come…. is full of the bright and promising future, they both have yet to envision.

I was kinda hesitant in asking someone to fill the blanks between the confession n epilogue. Patha nai aaj sabka kya mood hoga.

Gags as usual brilliantly written. Can we get a con pls…isko pls continue karo…. Short con OS. Dong spend a lot of time. gutter gang feels so left out yaar dua milegi

Toh chalo everyone....The show ended while I was still in denial about Agastya's death...For me, since I only watched until there was a hope of Surya being Agastya...jump to, I watch today's last confession scene and the epilogue and I fill the blanks in my head that, this indeed is Agastya..and that's how I got my happy ending for #AgasLie For me, this was the future after AgasLie wedding in the temple...they return home..some hiccups here and there in terms of Auggy's past gf, Amrit and then everything ends well with Imlie accomplishing her dream to be a chef and also complete her studies..with Agastya by her side!! And then they start working together in Choudhary sweets...Sonali finds a companion in Amit (that was his name, right? Memory like a goldfish lol) and everyone is happy in general!!!

I think it was about time the show ended...without unnecessary drama, butchering of characters and what not...although I do agree with everyone here that Oh how we would have loved to see Sai Adrija onscreen longer!!

Thank you everyone for the most wonderful time on this forum. Ren Sharada, we have dissected each and every episodes when the Imlie#3 fandom was not that big...I remember it was just us 4-5 girls in the AT and then I took a break and when I was back, we had suddenly grown to 10-15 active members!! I had the most fun when we used to play this guessing game of whether Surya is Agastya...I miss that time when we were convinced they are the same and were amused by the sudden flirty behavior of Auggy cum Surya...I will never forget that Thumka on Hum tum ek kamre me band ho...I wish the show had retained that vibe...nevertheless, all in all an amazing experience after a long time in ITV..will definitely watch whatever Sai or Adrija decide to do next.

Is it true that Adrija has already grabbed her next project? Which is it?
