Yes they gave proper arcs in the first episode itself so that viewers can get an idea of character’s sketch.
Father is hypocrite and its pretty evident from the first episode. Haroon’s character would be a grey one I feel and would be somehow involved in trapping dua. Start is good, & hiba was looking beautiful.

Faraz & Dua also meet for the first time. Both seem interested but Dua's inhibitions make her feel the act to runaway lol. Dua likes to lecture others but khud par jab baat aati h, toh fir she shy aways lol.

Definitely liking Dua's bonding with her mother, more than sisters. The father's imposes too much restrictions. Even her friends, Rida & Fahad, are quite nice. Rida's perspective is quite nice.

Both of the episodeswere good. They set up the backstory for all of the characters, and all of themhad a good introduction.

As shown in the promo,Dua has strict father, who also is a hypocrite and a creep.

It seems likeNaushervan's brother died, and he had to give up his life and girlfriendbecause of it. He is still bitter about it and sad about his brother dying.

Faraz doesn’t seem likea bad guy; I wonder why he does what's shown in the promo.

Everything progressedreally fast; Dua and Faraz already seem to like each other, and Naushervan isinterested in Dua. The editing of scenes with Naushervan seemed a little off tome.

According to the promo,Naushervan is engaged to get married, but in the second episode, he also seemsto be interested in Dua. Is Dua going to be his second wife?
