You wonder if Ruturaj could have used Santner more. Yes there's not much in for spin, but Santner is a class act at varying speeds and can outdo batters in flight. The worry of Sai taking him on seems to be playing a bigger role on the captains mind, but his other choices are anyway going 15+ easily.

CSK has some serious team selection to do next year. All their bowlers r getting injured.

They need some hard hitting young Indian players as backup.

couldnt agree more. Rutu needs to show some faith in his spinners. Is this a belter pitch? I hope csk defends it ,if they dont it might well be Thala's last dance the day after !
