I simply loved the set and the decorations. It was so simple and serene. Full on Purvaiya vibes. Right from the designs on the wall, the floral decoration in the aangan, the props used in the mandap, the costumes, orange sindoor. Maza aa gaya.

sometimes purwaiya feels like its part of mythical folklore given how much this small sleepy village is a character in itself in Agastya imlie or surya imlie love story( Won't consider reddys to be part of purwaiya because they feel like alien to its culture or vibe). We first saw purwaiya in first episode with greenery just like how gokul or Vrindavan would have been in Krishna Radha love story. I still remember the team went to shoot in actual village on outskirts of Mumbai for that song sequence ( Murali bajegi Radha nachegi) . Kitna dedication tha yeh team mein to make things as authentic as possible.

Purwaiya saw a foreign returned babu and village belle having their first indirect nok jhok. Jab bar sequence ke baad Chaudharys introduced huye tab I knew it the show will be love story of ameer khandaan ka Waris and Gaon ki Gori like those 60s - 70s movies.

Then masked man track mein the village felt like it has been abandoned and cursed and two lovers are trying to survive in it.

Jab Surya introduced hua toh I really wanted the storyline to progress like how shree is writing in her fanfiction. A non nonsense police officer arriving in this unknown village falling for a heartbroken widow and simultaneously exposing the dark secrets that this village is hiding for years.

Swag ,Attitude, anger and intense and passion scenes toh waise hi us par Acha lagta hai

He could be an all rounder actor with good guidance.

He has such beautiful expressive eyes. Infact even Adrija. They both can really bring in these micro expressions and convey the emotions so well. I am glad I didn’t miss out this show.
