The fast fashion of Pakistan. Ecologically not viable but everyone is in it for the race and bragging rights lol. Its actually great that Indians are not so crazy about this

No it's not that Indians are not crazy🤣 In India sarees and lehengas are more popular than kurtas...Again, m only saying based on what I have seen ...It could be different in different regions...We wear kurtas for daily and for occassions we drape sarees or some prefer lehengas..

In my place, people are crazy about Silk sarees.. They love to flaunt them..lol

I personally like cotton fabrics and prefer them over any other fabrics.. You can't wash silk that often that's one of the reason I don't prefer them, have to dry wash it if you want to wash,no other option..

Are domestic violence warnings new ? Just saw one on Green and the bar is so low with PTV that I went 👏

IMG_4579.jpeg

It should have lasted for the whole scene instead of just the slap though. Just a few seconds doesn’t cut it. Still a long way to go till we start getting it at the beginning of the show/episodes but it was nice to see the words on screen at least 🤦🏻‍♀️

Unsure if it’s specific to Green. I know everyone posts the “smoking and alcohol is prohibited” but this one was new for me for PTV

They almost all do lawn. Including Maria B. It’s the bread and butter.
its become more high end over the years but didn’t start out like that. But yeah, you could say it was one of the OG brands which got really popular with the aunties. Now there are so many choices that it has to compete like crazy just like the rest of the brands. It’s also trying to become more “exclusive” now. No longer affordable range for middle class as was the case before

Yeah cotton over silk any day 🙌🏽 unless you have ulterior goals lol

Saaris I don’t think are feasible to wear every day anyway for someone like me so I am constantly in awe of those who wear it daily as the norm. So many desi women do. Whenever I see an desi auntie on the plane wearing a sari on a friggin 14 hour flight i’m like 🫡

I can hardly last a few hours

Good at least they started posting disclaimer...they should ban smoking scenes too like ITV did

Actually it's all about practice.. I too used to get irritated ,but once I learnt to drape it properly there is no going back..lol. In our place, we are supposed to wear a saree for any functions.. People will give weird looks if anyone wears lehenga or kurtas..It's apparently only for the kids below 18smiley39

Now m a pro, I can drape it in like 3-4 mins..smiley36 Once you get accustomed to sarees you will start liking it.. The only difficulty I have ever felt is if you have to ride scooty..lol it keeps flying from all the sidesmiley37
