that's how it was with parizaad and other shows too whose finales played in cinema. i don't think we ever even learned about their BO numbers.
i remember with the parizaad finale at the cinema, there was a red carpet, press conference and after party. Ahmed, the cast and crew, Momina Duraid and her son were there and some other celebs too. The after party had even more celebs. This is maybe Hum's way of celebrating the success of its mega hits.

the most interesting name here was Imran abbas to me . I thought he was lying about being offered those Bollywood films but this makes me look at it differently
I never thought he lied about the offers because he did couple of movies and was actually known. I remember during KAM 1, people were crazy ke Dekho how good looking this lead is from Pak..later Fawad became famous due to Humsafar and ZGH. I know Fawad became huge obviously than others..

Also I don't like this. The drama is made for TV & for free watch (which technically isn't free bcz they get money out of it)
But turning it into theatrical release to get more money by a project which was actually produced for TV standards is not done..
People should not watch & entertain such trend
