He seems to have a good head on his shoulders and unlike Ani I felt he actually respects her talent and his praise seems more valid because he has fared the tide in the same field.

I don't care whether he ignites jealousy in Ani at this point or in the future. I want a friend for J who genuinely cares about her like Rahul does. I want J to know Ani is not the only good male role model she can have in her life in the form of a friend/mentor; Adi can be too. Others can be too. I want makers to show clearly that the attraction J has for Ani is not a result of some sort of imprinting.

@Italic - True that. He respected her from the start even with the evils' mention of her as 'maid'. His expression then was more of a startled one than 'disrespect' or 'disdain'. And Jhanak's talent only strengthened his respect more & also liking.

@bold - Heyyyy this is news to me.....when was Ani her friend?? I thought he was everything but friend, isiliye I was rooting for R meeting J, at least once. She desperately needs one at this stage in her life

They could have been, there were hints to that during Kashmir episodes, but that quickly changed once he brought her to his house and his family made her a maid. Plus, he also behaved rude in their first interaction after the event, so she quietly put a distance saying he is a master, and she is a maid though he wanted it to be as it was before in Kashmir.
