Oh yes I read that in yesterdays article about IPL and revamp, but I am still hopeful, because it mentions rumours for them here. I would prefer a 1-2 year generational leap - with Imlie seperated from Surya as per their original deal so that it can account for Imlie 'moving on' so to speak. I've a theory on SurJali's superficial love story..

Considering Anjali's character, it's likely she developed a crush on Surya during one of her visits to Malti and eventually proposed to him. Surya, being considerate of Malti's feelings, may have accepted Anjali's proposal even though his heart wasn't fully in it. Otherwise, it makes no sense how someone who was supposedly in love could move on so quickly..

Plus, in last to last episode, Anjali said, agar imlie ke jagah maine kabhi tumhe thappad maara hota, toh tum toh kabhi mera chehra nahi dekhte

Shows how much bhaao she used to get from Surya..
