I think all kind of roles are necessary. Murtasim and the fitoor one are the only strong brooding type character he did.. Nothing wrong in taking up such characters...

Whenever any versatile actor, be it female or male, suddenly has an exponential and unprecedented rise is fame, they’re bound to ruffle some feathers in established fandoms. Because versatility means they can make a space for themselves in any genre thanks to their range.
