I think we all jumped the gun a little earlier. The writers had a reason why they did what they did and today's episode barring the return of Gham ki Rajdhani was done really good.

I hate the way Malti and Nirmala keep on pushing Imlie's buttons. I think more than that I hate the way Nirmala knows exactly what bothers Imlie and somehow she gets Imlie to see what she wants to show. I get that Imlie is still unable to fully trust Surya given their circumstances.

Today Nirmala again pushed Imlie's fear and insecurities by planting Imlie's photos in Surya's clothes and then taunting that maybe Surya wants husband rights from Imlie and has fallen for Imlie. Imlie who was already on tether hooks did not know how to react to what Nirmala was saying. I liked the way Chachi came and tried to assure Imlie but Imlie was so lost in her thoughts and bam Surya came by. Surya did not see the bucket and he slipped his footing and to steady himself he took help of Imlie. That's it - Imlie blasted on him and said all the crap. Uff Surya and his heartbreak. It is like the guy couldn't even believe what Imlie was saying.

I am really glad that they got Arjun in the show and today Imlie had a big lecture from Arjun. Loved the whole conversation. Arjun is exactly like Hemalatha and I am glad he sunaoed Imlie. He told that the only reason I stood by you and bonded so quickly by you is that Surya bhaiyya took your side and I know that if Surya vouches for someone then that person is inherently good. But you have not understood him at all. He also told that Surya came into the room because Arjun told him that Imlie had not eaten. Arjun said that Surya was about to fall and that is why he took support of Imlie. The main highlight of the conversation was when Arjun said that women always used to feel safe around Surya. I am glad someone had to tell Imlie that she is being too unrealistic and Imlie did understand that she crossed the line.

Surya came to the room and was packing the stuff as he wanted to move away from Imlie. The last scene was really nice. Imlie feeling bad for hurting Surya and going around him to help him out. Imlie even said Surya to slap her so that they are even - Seriously Imlie do you really think Surya is a person who goes on hitting women. I loved the whole confrontation.

And then in the last scene Tayiji got an invitation from Bhosle institute to attend the Ram Navami Celebration and asks Surya to go. Since Imlie was not comfortable with Surya Tayiji says she will go along with him. But we all know Imlie will be the one who goes with Surya. I really hope this time away from the manipulative family (especially Nirmala) will make Imlie and Surya understand each other and when they come back they at least start at friendship.

I just hope we get some decent Surya - Imlie scenes in the 1 hour episode. don't want to see the Reddy Family but give me good scenes of Surya - Imlie please in the 1 hour episode.

Imlie ke kas ke jad dia Surya ke gaal pe tamacha... and we had a long ghum ki rajdhani song....Sai and Addy ki acting was so good that I could not even FF this song man. The cost cutting is really getting on my nerves. Can't they give some nice 90s music to give us more feels....

Things I loved loved loved today

SURYA - I am glad Surya did not retaliate or even give any explanation to Imlie. If she does not trust him then koi baat ka fayda nahi. I thoroughly enjoyed the silent treatment he gave Imlie, how he did not allow her to help him, him packing his clothes to move in with Arjun and him refusing to go to Ram Navmi celebrations with Imlie. I loved how he taunted Imlie on being surakshit away from him.

My boy keeps winning my heart, he does not entertain Anjali and her advances at all. I am not sure how much he trusted Anjali with the spiked drink matter but mostly there won't be any allegations in the future so thank god. I could see how easy it would be for Surya to second guess his decision to marry Imlie when she is being so unkind and untrusting to him and on the contrary Anjali being so caring etc. But still my man did not waver in his commitment. Yeh aadmi mera roz dil jeet raha hai.

Arjun bro is the bestest devar ever. I am glad he gave a reality check to Imlie, it was most needed. Acha hua he told her how Surya may be a rowdy insaan but women are safe around him. Bachpan ke baarein main bhi bola and shared his attributes as well. Acha hua Surya ne nahi, Arjun ne clarify kia about Surya coming to give her food last night and how he fell and touched her by mistake. Hemlata was again being a literal sunshine when she explained to Imlie that give time for the relationship.

Having said this, I can understand how Imlie was disturbed seeing her pictures in his clothes and how she was tensed that Surya will want to consummate the marriage. But that does not mean she questions his intentions and character and is physically violent with him. I hope this is the absolute last time this is happening. I have had enough of domestic violence on SPR. Nirmala is turning out to be a very smart villian, I quite enjoy her villany.

I think Imlie will feel miserable for doubting Surya ke intentions and may agree to go with him for the celebrations. I really hope we have put it all behind us and we will no longer take any steps backward in the progress of this relationship.

The episode dropped early on Hotstar again, there’s some good and some bad but better than what I expected.

First of all, who jinxed us because why did I have to hear the rajdhani song again, bhai I’m sure there’s other sad songs in Gul’s collection of OSTs. Plus they used the new BGM on Surya and Anjali again like why.

Second of all, where did Nirmala even get those pictures of Imlie? They don’t even make sense within the context of the events that transpired. And why would Surya just carry them in all of his pockets and that too from folded clothes? Logic ki ma behen kardi iss baat nai.

Felt sad for Surya, he was left speechless by Imlie’s lack of trust in him. I swear I saw the hint of a tear in his right eye, Imlie was fully in the wrong here. He’s being bajao-ed like a dhol by every woman in his life, be it his wife, his ex, his sister, Tayyi or Nirmala. Chachi is the only one who doesn’t bother him.

Now for the good, I’m really liking Arjun’s character. This is exactly the type of siblings I needed Surya to have. Malti is worse than the balti Surya tripped on. I like the way Arjun sunao-ed Imlie and how she actually listened to him since they’re “bros”. When is CJ coming back? I like how Imlie lets her self be in a lighter mood around them. Along with chachi, they’re the only people who are grounded in reality it seems. The rest of the Reddy’s are in delulu land, they think Surya and Imlie are playing house as children.

I lowkey love that we got to see Surya be the one who has to be manao-ed for once. Proper domestic vibes and poor Arjun was just stuck between them. I might rewatch just for that scene, obvi I’ll FF the other stuff.

As always, Tayyi knows how to break the mood. We’re getting the crossover next episode, keeping my hopes low on everything. Whether it be outfits, screen time or story. But if I can wish for one thing then it’s to see Imlie apologize to Surya, I want it to be a moment that affects them and their relationship. I just want one genuine moment like come on. Aage ki kahani se nikalo gham ki rajdhani…

I swear I hated hearing the Gham ki Rajdhani though I have to say the melody was quite soothing today and the shots of Surya sitting there stunned really moved me. Can we have a dukh ka gaana for them please and not use this Gham ki Rajdhani.

I would say Nirmala is just pro in pushing Imlie ke buttons and Imlie is being a puppet in her hands. That is why we see Imlie is unable to come out of her first impressions of Surya. And I am really glad that Arjun was the one who sunaoed her and he did give her a good reality check and for once Imlie was apologetic that she did hurt Surya.

The moment Arjun told what he wanted to tell and left, Imlie ran to Surya. It is like she just couldn't stand there any longer. She knew she had to apologize to Surya for hurting him and I loved the way she was going behind him to apologize.

I really hope we get good decent clothes for our leads please and some good scenes. Maybe this episode is the one where they will start trusting each other and take baby steps in this relationship.

Arjun has been a breeze of fresh air in this show. Overall the episode was really good because Imlie will now understand how wrong she was to judge Surya that harshly. Arjun will be the one who will introduce the real Surya to Imlie.

Congratulations to all the new Goldies on their promotions.

That shot of Agastya’s hand from the stretcher weighs so heavy on my heart. Because that’s the last we actually saw of him.

I feel like for such a long time, I didn’t even associate the body on the stretcher with August Babu. Even though I knew it was Sai underneath, I used to assume it was a disfigured Surya.

Agastya Singh Chaudhary, that wounded soul, that broken man who had just started to learn how to laugh and smile. This selfless, strong and caring character that we all came to love was gone within that small moment.

Imlie’s entire world, her hope and all her desires left with him. She hasn’t been living ever since his death.

I don’t agree with all the physical violence, I don’t condone it at all. But at the same time, I can’t allow myself to be mad at her. How does one even begin to cope with what she went through? I would lose my mind if I had to see the face of the man I loved on another everyday. It doesn’t justify her hitting him, I really hope they tone it down or just stop it in general.

Holi was my favourite moment so far in Imlie and Surya’s story. Because he made her smile, he brought back laughter and mischief in her life with his challenge. That moment when she applied colour on his face was everything. She was even wearing a sharee and it felt like we got the old Imlie back for a little bit.

I’ve come to respect Surya for his loyalty and commitment towards Imlie but it hasn’t made me pighlao towards him. Mostly because his guilt is what’s pushing him to do all of this, or that sense of responsibility that he has within him because they’re married.

Surya has changed a lot though, he is softening up towards her. It’s more than what he has lead himself to believe, Anjali was right about that. When we first met him, we saw how easily his anger came to the surface. Him raising his voice when she slapped him the first time is what made me doubt that he wasn’t Agastya.

The same Surya now lets himself be physically hurt for and by Imlie, because he deep down feels for her pain. He holds himself responsible for her misery. I don’t want him to be a punching bag to her though. I really hope she softens up towards him in the future.

My favourite moments are the ones where Surya’s smile lingers in his eyes when he sees her be happy. Sai nails his micro expressions during those scenes. Let’s hope the upcoming episode brings more than Imlie’s Surya dhone ka bahana la la la la la la…

I know it is difficult for Imlie to see Surya have August babu ka face, but they need to completely stop the violence. If Surya had done one thing this was off, I would be completely ok with the abuse - like I was fine with her trashing him after the truth was out.

Surya has suffered enough as well. He sacrificed his dreams and hopes due to the guilt he carries, is going against the world to be a supportive partner to Imlie. He is genuinely trying to make amends and changing. I would not belittle his loyalty by terming it as done out of guilt as that is something that genuinely makes his character shine for me. His unwavering loyalty to Imlie and his commitment to this marriage (which for now does not seem to have a future still he won't stray).

Anyway, I agree the Holi sequence was so nice and it felt good to see the old Imlie back. I hope they show the progress in their relationship going forward.

I don't like whoever this singer of ghum ki rajdhni was.... Surya was actually so stunned that he did not even notice or hear Anjali the first time she called him out..

@Kashish, yes yeh aadmi dhol ki tarah bajta jaa raha hai sab se... Also, *chef's kiss* Sai was brilliant in showing the shock and disbelief after the slap.

Yes, I would like to see how Imlie tries to apologize and try to make things normal between them, I want her to realize he feels immense guilt for whatever happened to Agastya and that while he cannot undo that, he is trying to make whatever amends he can.

Yes Surya has suffered enough. He went against his family, he is trying to do the best he can for Imlie yet seeing Imlie trust him so little was so heart breaking.

I get that Imlie is trying to make the best of the situation and she is still grappling with the loss she faced and she is trying her level best to come to terms of her babu's death. Surya also did not trust Imlie till he saw the video of Raghu and till Imlie took the bullet meant for him. That was when Surya changed his understanding of Imlie and he has never backed down from supporting her.

Unfortunately here for Imlie, the moment she takes 1 step forward she is pushed 2 steps back by the manipulative Nirmala. First it was the suhaag raat drama, then it was Anjali coming in their lives and then the biggest truth that Agastya died due to mistaken identity of Guru bhai. So Imlie is unable to have a firm opinion of Surya and stick by that. She thinks he is a rowdy police officer who abuses his power and whose negligence caused Agastya's death.

Today I was really glad that Arjun gave the reality check that was so needed to Imlie. He said that very few people have full power over Surya and Surya has himself given that and Imlie was one of them. But Imlie is misusing that power. This is what Imlie needed to hear honestly. Surya feels guilty for the situation Imlie is in but that does not mean Imlie hurts Surya whenever she can not trust him.

I'm beyond angry today for three reasons:

1. Imlie slapping Surya... so not done girl! Not fair

2. Gham ki Rajdhani comeback... I just can't tolerate this song! Sorry to say but its shitty AF!

3. Imlie, despite now knowing the truth, is not straight up apologising but doing faltu draame... I was so glad Surya sunaoed her when she suggested him slapping her back! Ye 'Akad ijazat nhi deti' ki problem humare Babu ki thi, Imlie mein kyu transfer kar rahe hain makers!

Things I loved today:

1. Surya not explaining himself, sunaoing Anjali, and giving Imlie silent treatment! Keep it up sweetheart, we're with you!

2. Arjun sunaoing Imlie and storming off without listening to Imlie's excuses (Yes, at this point these are excuses for me coz the girl was kidnapped, tortured and now respected by Surya. By now she should know he's not someone who's cross his limit in terms of dignity of a woman)... Arjun jaldi ki fav itv devars ki list mein rise kar raha hai.. so glad he's sweet like his mom

3. Surya standing up for himself and moving to Arjun's room... Enough of this lachaargi... You've suffered more than enough... I'm okay with Imlie not being able to trust him... But questioning his character is unfair!

Things I want to see tomorrow and day after:

1. Surya continuing to ignore Imlie

2. Imlie actually using words to apologise instead of this meek behaviour... You did him wrong, you must apologise!

3. Anjali and gham ki rajdhani staying the heck away from the episode

One random thing I wish for in Imlie’s apology, if she does, is for her to call Surya by his name. Kind of like how Annika started calling Shivaay by his name instead of “Billu-jhi” in IB.

She did call him Surya during the biryani scene when she was trying to wake up Tayyi’s mamta.

Nicknames are cute, I loved how Imlie called Agastya her akhrot ka chilka or Babu. But there has to be a more serious way for her to address Surya than Rowdy Reddy during emotional moments.

I really don’t think it’s too much to ask from Gul when we’ve gotten meaningful apology scenes in QH and IPK when the male lead had to say sorry.

I also think they could show us a beautiful scene here that could change the nature of their relationship. One where Imlie is vulnerable and actually tries to earn his forgiveness for misreading him.
