What I feel about this kidnapping track is that, armaan will go and save ruhi, cos she is bechari abala naari, but he will arrange safety for abhira also like involve police or take local peoples help as they might know abhira, and he knows she is a fighter (yeh type karte karte samaj aaya why he told, 'he knows the fighter abhira, not the crying one', agar yeh bhi rone lagegi toh armaan sa ka baand baj jayega. This will be something similar to how he chose abhira over the case while travelling to Mussoorie.
