I was browsing thru IPK3...

What the hell was Gul thinking 😂😂😂😂

It had 70 episodes...

They even had the audacity to use the BGM of Rabba ve.....

The only thing they did try and was good to an extent was the styling and clothes..

P.S.- before anyone asks, yes.. I am completely Vella right now 😅

Don't even talk about IPK3. Gul had neither the storyline for the show nor she cared enough to stand firm on her decision of casting only Barun and not Sanaya in the show. Gul said the tagline for IPK3 was - What if the one you love is the reason for your greatest sorrow. But here she could not execute the story properly. It was of childhood lovers who separate because of a mistake done by the FL when she was young. On surface she had potential but man she was so childish fighting with the fans of the show, the ex-fans of IPK, the fans of ex-FL - It was a mess.

I am really glad that Barun made the transition to web series and OTT and he has achieved critical acclaim in all his series - Asur, Kohrra, Halahal, Badtameez Dil. Gul definitely is maverick - no doubt on that.

Saw "No Strings attached" (the 7PM show) ka reunion episode snippets on twitter. Dang even with so many extras there was no angst between the couple or the - Oh now they saw each other feeling. We had better scenes when Imlie breaks the window and Surya turns to see her.

I so want to go back to that point and make Surya not a new character but Agastya with memory loss. The angst, the tadap and when the memory comes back the reunion would have been fantastic. These makers have literally 2 good actors and they failaoed raita in their quest of doing something different. I hope at least now the will realize that some tracks should not be changed and that is the reason why we have these time tested trp tracks.

For them to show angst...first they need to have shown love/ affection/ respect/ trust in the first place..

Yup I too felt the same. And this show is close to completing 500 episodes it seems. Hamare mahan writers ne 200 episodes main hi raita faila diya. Idiots kahin ke.

Koi nai Sharada.. our 200 episodes ka product is far better... At least it has high rewatch value to the point Agastya was there.. and maybe for upcoming episodes too if Suryalie is shaped well..

But wahan.. I can't even rewatch the initial episodes.. ab toh mahine ho gaye, dekhe hue.. just am aware that current plotline is a very very sad copy of gen 3 legacy one...and that itself had given too much DDP to the fandom then...

arey the creatives initial plan was to show Surya as Agastya only that too with memory intact. I could bet my life on it. Surya touching Imlie with so much comfort ,grabbing her in his arms with haq ,doing flirting with her, using retro songs to annoy her. This was Agastya only

When Alka revealed the twin truth that time also he was Agsatya only because his expressions made it seem that he was guilty of hiding the truth that it was Surya who died and he is Agastya very much alive.

The creatives changed the track and made Surya individual character when they included that malti and Surya childhood flashback.

The dialogues between Imlie and her aatma who was taunting her was so angst filled. " Yeh sindoor nahi August Babu ka khoon hai " and Imlie wiping it off furiously. This is a scene and dialogue which I wanted in Sai first show " henna" too but nevertheless....

Actually unlike Imlie, it didn't make sense in MHRW for her to give such an extreme reaction. She was probably almost in love with Raghav at that point (and never loved her first husband). Do you remember how she protected Raghav from the smuggling charges in the ideology track? Pallavi would bend the rules and protect her loved ones.

And in this case she knew Raghav would never not take responsibility for his actions. If he had caused the accident, he would never run away from there leaving the victim to die. So her trusting Raghav made sense.

@bold:- Oh yes that wretched flashback. That flashback literally doused all my hopes that Surya was Agastya. I was so disappointed with that episode and when that scene aired.

I strongly feel the creatives tries to do something different but their love story became their Achilles heel. The love story was so strongly woven and so powerful that now there is no way they can back out and show Imlie falling in love with Surya. Hence the status quo.

I so wish the creatives used the normal track which is time and again proved as being loved by the trp audience. We would not have been in this state. Sigh
