A brief yet captivating episode. Adrija truly shone with her performance, it was Imlie's raw pain that resonated deeply with me today.
Iâm actually annoyed at the Chaudharyâs for just abandoning her so easily; Imlie seems utterly alone at the moment. Dadi couldâve at least met the Reddyâs before marrying Imlie off to Surya. Witnessing her wander the streets aimlessly, her eyes empty, shattered my heart.
Those drunken vagabonds chose the wrong moment to cross paths with Imlie. The way she calmly removed the chain from her bike before beating them was a testament to how numb she felt inside. I knew she wouldn't need rescuing; she's the same girl who used to walk home alone after working at the bar.
I'm relieved to see Surya standing firm against his family's pressure and remaining committed to Imlie. Aside from Chachi, the Reddys exhibit despicable behaviour, lacking any redeeming qualities. Anjali's clinginess towards Surya is really making me raise questions about Tayyi's notions of sanskar as well.
I agree that Surya bears no responsibility for Agastya's demise, but the Reddys are also treating marriage as a trivial matter. It's obvious that he won't abandon Imlie, regardless of how mad she is with him. Iâm really starting to feel bad for Surya because the weight of his guilt is becoming too heavy for him to carry. It really wonât allow him to forgive himself.
I really wish Imlie hadn't lost the love of her life this way; her current state is even more dire than when we first encountered her. Despite her previous hardships, she clung to hope for a brighter future. Now, she carries a wound that time alone cannot heal.
It's been two months for us, and for Imlie, it's been six, and yet, the reality of his absence still hasn't sunk in. We've grown attached to Agastya and the profound bond he shared with Imlie. He deserved happiness, unconditional love, and above all, he deserved to live.
Aji sunte ho August Babu, tumari Imlie ka kya hoga? Kon banega uski liye himmat ka samundar?
