Episode 37: Ishaan Regrets Avoiding Savi

As soon as Savi leaves, Ishaan finds himself consumed by a deep sense of regret. Alone in his cabin, he replayed the events of the last night over and over again in his mind, each passing moment only serving to intensify his feelings of remorse.

In his private space, Ishaan rests his back in the armchair and holds a book in hand but his mind elsewhere. The image of Savi, wrapped in nothing but a towel, filled his thoughts, stirring a longing within him that he struggled to suppress.

"Savi is my wife, my partner, and my student," Ishaan reflected quietly, his words echoing in the silence of his room. "But there is something between us, something powerful and undeniable. That kiss... it was a manifestation of the feelings that have been simmering beneath the surface. Yet, I must be cautious. I cannot let my emotions cloud my judgment, especially with her exams approaching. And, she also needs to know the real reason why we got married, before I can take any step further in this relationship.”

"But, why did I push her away?" Ishaan muttered to himself, his voice heavy with self-reproach. "I should have talked to her, faced her like a husband should. But instead, I let fear and uncertainty dictate my actions."

His heart was heavy with the weight of missed opportunities, and Ishaan couldn't shake the feeling that he had made a grave mistake.

The thought of Savi standing alone in the hallway, her pleas for connection falling on deaf ears, filled him with a profound sense of sadness.

With a heavy sigh, Ishaan rose from his chair and made his way to the door, his steps slow and hesitant. As he reached out to open it, his hand paused, hovering inches away from the handle, his mind flooded with indecision.

Outside the cabin, Savi's footsteps echoed softly in the corridor as she made her way to the exit. Her heart ached with disappointment at Ishaan's cold response, the weight of his silence pressing down on her like a heavy burden.

Unable to bear the pain of rejection any longer, Savi resolved to put some distance between them, if only to shield herself from further heartache.

Back inside the cabin, Ishaan's hand fell limply to his side as he listened to the sound of Savi's retreating footsteps. A wave of regret washed over him, followed by a deep sense of longing for the connection they had shared just hours before.

"I've made a terrible mistake," Ishaan whispered to himself, his voice barely above a whisper. "I let my fear and pride get in the way of what truly matters. But it's not too late. I can still make things right."

Ishaan decides to meet Savi and apologize to her.

Rao Saheb and Nishi are in the cabin talking about their upcoming project and funding issues. The investors were laying tough conditions which they did not wish to agree upon and on the other hand, they felt their hands were tied.

During their meeting, an email notification pops up in their inbox.

The email is from the Board of Education. Rao Saheb hurriedly opens it. The email from the Board of Education brings unexpected news. Rao Saheb's eyes widen as he reads through the message, his expression shifting from confusion to excitement.

Nishi notices the change in Rao Saheb's demeanor and leans forward, curiosity piqued. "What is it, Rao Saheb? What does the email say?"

With a grin spreading across his face, Rao Saheb looks up from the screen. "It's incredible, Nishi! The Board of Education has approved our project proposal for funding. Not only that, but they've also offered additional resources and support to ensure its success."

As Rao Saheb and Nishi delve deeper into the details of the email, they come across an intriguing revelation buried within the message. Alongside the approval of their project, there's a cryptic mention of a new board member being appointed, someone who will oversee the financial aspects of the initiative.

Both get thoughtful! Little do they know, the arrival of the new board member is just the beginning of a journey filled with twists, turns, and unexpected revelations that will test their resolve like never before.

Episode 36: Struggles With Emotions

What just happened, must not have happened, Ishaan thinks and leaves the room.

Savi cherished the moment while getting ready in her nightwear, she was happy in her heart but feeling nervous in her mind and did not want to face her husband. She thinks let me go out and immediately sleep with a blanket covered till head.

She comes out and sees Ishaan is not in the room, she breathes relief thinking he must have gone out to make her comfortable, and she sleeps with a covered face.

After their intimate moment, both Savi and Ishaan found themselves caught in a whirlwind of conflicting emotions. While their feelings for each other had never been clearer, the reality of their situation weighed heavily on their minds.

___________________________________

The next morning with a sigh, Savi pushed herself upright in bed, her thoughts consumed by the memory of the intimate moment she had shared with Ishaan. Despite the tender sweetness of their kiss, a sense of unease gnawed at her, knowing that their relationship had taken a new and uncertain turn.

As she glanced over at the empty space beside her, a pang of longing washed over her, wishing for Ishaan's comforting presence to ease her troubled mind.

But to her dismay, the bed remained vacant, a silent reminder of his absence.

She does not find him anywhere in the house, she reached college and saw that he has canceled all his lectures for the day.

There was a suffocative feeling in her, she wanted to talk but fell short of words and also not have the courage to go and confront him regarding his feelings.

She still hesitantly walks to his cabin, opens it half, and knocks on it. With a trembling hand, she rapped lightly on the door, her voice barely above a whisper as she called out to him.

"Ishaan Sir?" she called softly, her voice tinged with uncertainty. "Can we talk?"

Inside the cabin, Ishaan froze at the sound of Savi's voice, his heart pounding in his chest as he grappled with a surge of conflicting emotions. Part of him longed to open the door and face her, to address the unresolved tension between them head-on. But another part of him, a part that he struggled to acknowledge, recoiled at the thought of confronting her after their intimate moment.

With a heavy heart, Ishaan made a decision, one born out of fear and uncertainty. Ignoring the turmoil raging within him, he remained silent, refusing to acknowledge Savi's presence or the invitation to talk.

He nods no and pays no attention!

Outside the cabin, Savi's heart sank at the lack of response, her hopes dashed against the cold silence of the closed door.

Desperate to break through the barrier that had sprung up between them, she called out to him once more, her voice tinged with frustration and longing.

"Ishaan Sir, please," she pleaded softly, her words echoing in the empty hallway. "We need to talk about last night. Please don't shut me out."

But her pleas fell on deaf ears as Ishaan remained resolute in his silence, his decision to avoid her fueled by a mixture of shame, desire, and uncertainty.

And as Savi stood alone in the hallway, her heart heavy with disappointment, she couldn't help but wonder how they would ever bridge the growing divide that threatened to tear them apart.

Shikha and Asmita are on the garden swing.

Shikha: “Kaku, don't you think Savi and Ishaan are changing? It looks like they are getting closer ever since they returned from the camp.”

Asmita: “Wow, Shikha, you have mature eyes! You can see the same thing I do.” She caresses Shikha's cheeks.

Shikha: “Yes, Kaku, who will be happier than me seeing a husband and wife staying together and getting closer? Not everyone can be as unlucky as me.”

Asmita feels bad for Shikha and consoles her: “Shikha, things will get better for sure. I don't know when, why, or how, but my instinct says that both daughters-in-law of this house will soon get all the love they deserve from their husbands.”

Shikha's phone rings; the screen says: “Chinmay Calling”.

After reading the update, I thought that Ishaan would have spoken with Savi directly and conveyed his feelings to her without any hesitation rather than avoiding Savi. I

Episode 38: Savi Leaves Home

Ishaan comes home and sits in his library, waiting for Savi to come. Each single minute seemed like ages to him but she did not turn up. A message pinged on his mobile. It was from Savi, he excitedly opens it but as soon as he reads it, his face becomes pale.

It reads as: “Ishaan Sir, I am moving to Isha mam’s house, I can't take much avoidance in my life, I think I should only focus on my upcoming exams, I got the reality check today morning.”

The floor slipped from Ishaan’s legs and felt nothing short of an earthquake to him, “What the hell did I do with her? How extremely I would have hurt her?”

He takes out his car keys and runs to his old house. In the next half an hour, he was right there at the doorbell. He quickly presses the switch and long for Savi to open it.

Isha Mam opens the door and feels contented to see his child’s face, he stands there with what to do expressions, the child in him is scared of his Aai, he thinks Savi must have told her the blunder I made and now she will scold me like there is no tomorrow.

He looked here and there, Isha Mam smiled at him and said, “Mrs younger Bhosle is busy with her studies, she had some difficulty so asked me if I could help since you are busy with your office work. Also, she told me that she wanted to stay with me for 2-3 days. But I was sure you would come to pick her up the same day itself.”

She welcomes him inside. Ishaan hearing this breathes a sigh of relief. “Thank God, nobody knows what has happened, and why she is here. Thank you, Savi! I genuinely love you, but I can't express it on your face.”

He moves to her room without knocking and after entering makes sure to close the door.

Savi angrily looks at him, moves her chair, and shows her back to him. He smiles at her childish gesture. He goes near her, presses her shoulder, and lovingly takes her name, “Savi..!”

She jerks her shoulder and moves a little away. He goes closer to her and sits on his knees in front of her chair. He holds both armrests of the chair so she can't move it and looks into her eyes.

“Sorry! I should not have avoided you and a bigger sorry for crossing my limits. I don't know what was that moment where I got carried over and…It won't happen again.”

Savi asks, “And,? What and? You do what you want to do but then don't even think about the other person, what she goes through, and how?”

Ishaan held both his ears and said, “I am really sorry but don't take me wrong, I am not a lusty person at all.”

His eyes get tearful, he says, “Savi, I am carrying a huge burden in my heart and mind, please give me some time, I cannot reveal it to you now but before that, I do not want to give you any hopes also. Please bear with my situation, it is the most complicated one.”

Savi failed to understand the "burden" he was referring to but felt his sincere apology coming from the heart.

Savi and Ishaan were unaware but outside the door, Isha Mam and Shantanu were able to hear this and get thoughtful, what is Ishaan referring to, and what is stopping them from taking their relationship forward?

Ishaan says, “Take rest here for 2-3 days as you will feel better with Aai/Baba and I’ll see you tomorrow at college, good night.”

He leaves the house, keeping Savi confused about the burden he was referring to, she thinks, “How on earth kissing a wife can be a burden and this much troublesome?”

First of all, thank you so much for the update.

After reading the update I think Ishaan should try to speak with Savi and clear all the misunderstandings between them. Then he should not hesitate to express his feelings for her.

I also hope that Savi might not get angry or upset with Ishaan after he expresses his feelings for her.
