Thanks for the wishes, Eid will be on Wednesday for us in UK. Alhamdulillah fast has gone well this year, but it was difficult as well especially when having iftari and knowing about the atrocities that are happening and our innocent brothers and sisters who are fasting in such a time and breaking their fast with what little they have. Had to become a little less active on social media as all the news was really affecting me. Looking forward to having the family over and seeing all the kids in one place.

LOL indirectly I am a grandma!! 😂😂🤣🤣 As my niece has a son which in my culture also makes me a nani 🙈🙈. Lots of food and lots of love ❤️

I became a grandma (dadi) 20 years ago when my foster sister's son had their first son. But unfortunately, due to distance of where they live in the UK I only get to see them in family events (mainly weddings)

I think many people celebrate eid different ways. Some muslims go by the sighting of the moon in their own country. In the UK, majority following the sighting and ruling from Saudi Arabia. This year I believe there is also a few who are going to celebrate after the full 30 days of ramadhan regardless of sighting of the mooon, as this year the moon sighting was a bit unprecedented due to the solar eclipse
