I think she is weak in crying and emotional scenes I don’t think anyone has written off SMD but knowing the director’s style, can’t expect to be a big hit. Wahaj needs more critical acclaim than success anyway after Mein.

Wahaj fans have not written off SMD. They are hoping that they will see the return of Wahaj the actor and are cautiously optimistic about the project given it's Haseeb and KRQ. There are a few apprehensions around screentime and whether we will see some of KRQ's misogyny, but I don't know of any Wahaj fan who has written it off. Everyone's waiting for the teaser to drop as we don't know know what it's about. After Mein, no one wants to hype chemistry or a ship until the teasers drop at the very least.

There are some in the Yumhaj fd (not all) who are not interested in SMD. They are fans of the ship not the actors so they don't care about SMD and will just ignore it. Last, there are those who are actively trolling SMD on X before it even begins (the sun mere phephre, sun mere brother crowd). But I won't put either of these groups down as Wahaj fans.

I think it was just because Wahaj wasn't there for half the shooting period. He mainly shot for SMD from late Nov-late Jan and then a few days in Mar.
