Honestly, I don't really know or care for the act of burning it. I would just call it an extreme act of emotional upheaval to moving on.

What concerns is the striking differences in the treatment of Shahs (who are supposedly are her abusers) and Kapadias (who genuinely loved, cared and respected her).

Imagine, a teenager child, in her most vulnerable state could not make herself to burn the pic that had her family and mother who forsake her. Here was a 55 year old woman, who was in her senses, and has control of her emotions, is able to do that🤷🏻‍♀️.

They have shown a "stark" difference. In fact, the difference and the hypocrisy is so clear that at times I feel surprised that they have done this to their female lead.
