for that, Ani needs to grow a lot and may be he will if he cancels his upcoming marriage to Arshi and start to realize that apathetically leaving Jhanak to get insulted in the house was a mistake. If he wanted to help someone he should have made sure about her well-being. And start to realize what is present within that drives him time to time to care for Jhanak

I think it is because of this humiliation that she felt that she tried to commit suicide. Still, no girl does that in reality if she is in Arshi's shoes.
