But today he hurted Jhanak very badly with his words...I felt few dialogues are not needed like garland dialogue. Directly he attacked on her self respect.
Yeah, and his reasoning is also flawed. He told Jhanak that he agreed to the idea of her marriage because that would be a good escape from the insults she faces everyday from his family.
But he knows that marriage will be a bad thing to do at this point of time. Then why doesn't he put Jhanak in a hostel? Why doesn't he order Jhanak and blackmail her for her own good to make her go at some place like that and give her small job at a shop or office when she knows English. He feels for Jhanak so there is a subliminal desire to keep her near and he doesn't make efforts. He let things come easy. He is an irrational person. There is a story he has created about himself that he is good etc etc and support it through illogical arguments. That's what I think.
