I would not have mind her acting if she was doing roles like sana javed .

If she was in show like sukoon then it would have been ok . She would not have impacted the watching experience of the drama . Sana's role was anyway bland in not so great drama but when you see her in role like zamda' who had very important and powerful role in khaie and she fails to deliver there then it hurts .

It makes me think that maybe farooq rind didn't get shibra much to do in the fazal baksh revelation scene because he is aware about her limitations as an actor .

Without any hardwork she is doing protagonist role that too strong roles even though she can barely speak Urdu properly.

I am ready to give her chance given that she doesn't destroy a good drama like wat she did with khaie 😊

Also all the actors which I mentioned were much better than durre in their initial plays.

Sajal was great in behadd

So was yumna in ullu baraye.

Still they didn't get main lead this soon without getting polished .

They improvised themselves in the supporting role they played and then got main lead.

Sajal was great in chup rHo one of her first and gul e Rana as main lead

Same with yumna in darr si jaati sila or guzarish

I agree as a viewer its sad to watch someone who isn’t that good at acting and you are criticising in a very respectful way which is appreciable. In jurm and KTK , I didn’t like her much but in khaie, yes she improved but we needed someone very strong to play zamda. She was agressive as zamda but there something there was lacking.

I would not have even criticised her but khaie was my favourite drama and somewhat I was disappointed

Anyway enough of the rant . Hopefully she will improvise in future.

Off screen she seems to be a sorted personality and likeable too

I assume people are overly criticizing Durre in this thread because SH overpraised her (I have not watched SH reviews myself). She has shown significant improvement in Khaie as compared to her previous roles. She is going to be even better in her next role.

PS: Just ignore SH when they show clear bias.

Regarding yumna , I am not liking her recent works. She was good in Ishq zahe naseeb and Dar si Jati hai sila. Dar si jati hai Sila was the best I think for me. But in bakhtawar and TB I didn’t find her that good. Sajal’s yakeen ka safar and alif were good for me. In KA her performance was underwhelming.

I have not watched tere bin or bakhtawar .

But I liked sajal in kuch ankahi . The character was irritating . I have watched kuch ankahi in bits and pieces until the writter introduced cliche rich man with baggage character 😂

Sherry only has 1 iconic character which is Osama from ZGH zavi is still new he might improve

Khaie is gruesome but so satisfying. I want this revenge plot to be executed like how it is moving at fast pace. Done with 10 eps. But the violence is too much. I could feel for those dead characters who were not even related. Par khoon ka badla khoon.
