I have seen actor playing Jayesh as rich, strict, bitter, annoyed, stubborn father with his daughters in two of his earlier shows, in both in father role he was loving and possessive, but angry & hurt at same time that his child went against his wish, be it in career or marriage choices.. so his father role cuts links with her, but reconciles later when his daughter is in deep troubles.

Here Jayesh was supposed to be selfish man, smitten by young lady leaving his family of 30 years for her, but feel in writing & execution they went overboard in showing him as if a full vile irresponsible indifferent, heartless father.

Just if we go back & listen to speech Amruta gives about her Baba in anniversary function in first week episodes, it hints Jayesh was a responsible caring father, he sacrificed few things to give better education & life to both his children before Amu started earning, and was proud of Amu & Harsh boasting his upbringing.. but alas now..

As per law you cannot go ahead with marriage rituals without getting divorce from legal wife. Jayesh filed divorce on compatibility issues if his EMA comes out in court they will know about his infedility and Bhavani will easily win divorce case. He will have to pay heavy alimony.

True. And thats the 'nuksaan' he mentioned he may have to pay (other than the possibility he can be arrested - cant be this since its not marriage).

Nuksaan - if Ammu / Bhavani take that step... Ishika and Jayesh dont want to pay alimony too. Perhaps banking on the possibility that she wont take that step (asking alimony for divorce / getting him arrested) and shaming her/them if they do... 'running after money'.... etc. etc.

Well... i wont mind if they tell him to buzz off actually... also make Harsh (well.. even Ammu for that matter) perform the 'final rites' of his 'considered dead' father - 'Pind chutt gaya' in the literal way.

Ammu already said to him to pay 35 lakh something for divorce as a cost of her mother sacrifices and for that only divorce matter is pending. That's why he planned mutual divorce by blackmailing Bhavani so here if his infedility is out he will have no option to negotiate the amount court will order him to pay even more than what Ammu demanded.

It will be good if they now focus on Jayesh Bhavani divorce proceedings as audience will get break from this misunderstanding, revenge and Ahuja's drama. Chitnis family story have more depth and really hope they don't show ott with Bhavani going emotional over mangalsutra and all.

Virat can redeem himself quite a bit by intervening in the upcoming matter. Will have to go against his mom... but will be for his good too.

In a way, not much harm can be done to Amruta - the deal with Singhania depend on her being the point of contact / the in charge. [Scope of small mu here would be Virat may do things cause he genuinely cares about it, but she is likely to interpret it as him doing this for the continuation of the deal.]

Bhavani doesn't want to get Jayesh arrested on 'infidelity charges' after 30 years of their marriage as he is father of her children, neither she wants Amruta to inform before courts Ishika & EMA as driving forces for Jayesh forcing Bhavani to sign divorce papers with mutual consent on lack of compatibility reasons, she will also object Amruta informing how Jayesh emotionally manipulated Bhavani to run away from her children to village all alone, in return of a deal to take responsibility of Amurta's marriage & Harsh's final year education when divorce case is still in courts.

This upcoming roka is a reality check for Bhavani that Jayesh can never reconcile with her, and to see if she still wants to lead a delusional life not taking appropriate legal action against Ishika, hope she will also come to know from Ishika on Holi that she is now their 5th floor flat new owner, not Jayesh.

Bhavani's character needs a progressive believable journey as a middle age woman, which is still far away in this story as focus was/is mainly on ott Ahuja's which is boring viewers for months together. She was shown just in fractions standing up for her children voicing against Ishika, Jayesh & Babita, but Bhavani is still too naive, unskilled, un-earning & timid and so can be easily emotionally manipulated.

I never liked Bhavani stand as why she wants to protect image of such a cheater characterless husband. She always stops Ammu taking action against him after knowing what he did with her and their children. She very well knows they are not leaving single chance to humiliate Ammu than why she is stopping her from exposing their truth. I know she never earned so may not know value of hard earned money otherwise why she will want to forgive that person who cheated their daughter by breaking FD which was her daughter hard earned money for her future .Being mother she too should feel bad about it as indirectly she too responsible for all this . She supported Jayesh by not exposing his truth that's why Jayesh could take advantage of Ammu trust if she had given hint about his EMA Ammu would have never trusted him in financial matters only because of her false hope of Jayesh will realise his mistake and come back to her she has put her children future in darkness.
