Sarah’s character miral had a relationship with her psychiatrist dr.Harris and ended up marrying him. Viewers had a major issue with this because that’s unethical for a psychiatrist to do and can lead to major consequences. Dr.Harris was played by Usman Muhktar , it was a highly anticipated appearance but people felt let down by the storyline .

Oh I remember they chopped off Usman's scene, but is it wrong that I didn't think it was a big deal for a doctor to date his patient. So many shows have teacher-student or office colleagues dating eo.

yeah but Miral was shown as someone with major issues . People just found it strange a doctor would date his very vulnerable client . Teacher -student dating dynamic is also off balance . Only colleagues dating each other really makes sense

I know in America you can get your license taken away if your a psychiatrist and mess with a patient but I don’t think it applies to regular doctors because their patients are most likely of sound mind.

this applies to all doctors :) they can’t date patients. Period.

doctors can’t even discontinue seeing patients they find attractive based on this. It’s an unethical reason to deny service and refer them to someone else

but of course. Many people lie and go around this. But ethically and legally it’s not allowed
