Aur yes.. it is very close to Gujhiya taste wise..

Add this to the movie references that went over my head 😶😶😶

Yes, but gujiya has more of a stuffing of mawa, powdered sugar, coconut, and dry fruits whereas ghughra calls for semolina along with sugar and coconut and dry fruits.

P.S We have a #NoGandiBaat policy in our premises to ensure this zone is comfortable for people of all ages and sensibilities. So let's not add anything with double meanings here :)

Yes, it is similar. This same sweet dumpling is known as Garijalu (Telangana), Gughara (Rajasthan), Ghughara (Gujarat), Kajjikayalu (Andhra Pradesh), Karanji (Maharashtra) Karjikayi or Karigadubu (Karnataka), Nevri or Neuri (Goa), Pedakiya (Bihar), Purukiya (Uttar Pradesh) and Somas (Tamil Nadu) and made with slightly different stuffings/fillings in different regions of India. It has a crispy and flaky outer layer of maida and sweet stuffing of khoya (mawa), dry coconut, dry-fruits, cardamom powder and sugar.

I got shocked seeing Pauva at the top of menu... But seems like this is some different Pauva (not the one jo chikni chameli Pauva Chadha ke aayi) smiley9

Anyways, I'd like to order a simple Dahi Bhalla from the menu 😋
