Not just that, they edited out an entire sequal of the drama because the fl was wearing a swimming suit in those scenes. I first watched the Urdu dubbed version and then I watched the original one with subtitles and that's when I realised they edited out a lot of scenes where any female character is wearing deep neck clothes

In khaie's case, the makers have focused much on channar's family. People actually got connected with these characters. Initially, audience was with zamda and wanted her to take the revenge but later on when they have shown barlas aparna love story, story of other characters then people started having soft spot for them.

She was making a crossover edit where she thought some lines from the book goes well with Meerasim scenes - same way hundreds of fans have made TB edits using Bollywood songs and dialogues. Same way people have used Faiz or Ahmed Faraz ki shayari on TB fan edits. There was an edit I remember which had used Kashaf's monologue from ZGH.

Booktok is full of book quotes on pictures of actors, strangers, things.

It was people being reactionary because they saw TB and PeK in same sentence without understanding the context.

I mean how is this crossover edit least bit offensive to Umera Ahmed. Akso this is not fan casting.

I’m not ready to see Mani as Murtasim yet and the other kid as a younger Murtasim 😂 but the cast looks good so I might give it a chance once it’s almost done.
