I’m all in for pregnant women feeling confident in their own skin

But I can guarantee most women won’t wear such things to formal events when they aren’t pregnant …just coz it’s not the usual dress code

It almost seems like she wore it specifically coz she’s pregnant …drama for the heck of it is a bit meh

Pregnant bellies terrify me.

But I know why some women choose to leave pregnant bellies open. It can be hard to find comfortable maternity clothes, especially if you show more. Even soft, stretchy fabric that is meant to be comfortable can cause pressure and discomfort. Also, pregnant women feel hot and sweaty easily. At home, in the company of their most close and trusted girlfriends, pregnant women can be total slobs wearing just low-waist sweats and a sports bra.

Alia did show up with a see through shirt with her bump visible, i dont think she was crucified for it. I cant bother to look for pic, just google it. I think it was a pink shirt.

Photoshooting especially to have pictures from the pregnancy and how doing Yoga with a baby bump isn't the same than baring the pregnant belly at a social event dressing up willfully.

To me, latter is misplaced and isn't even a beautiful sight. A shine-through shirt still would show the belly but still feels more decently dressed.

My point is - I get that large pregnant bellies can be unsightly for most people.

But the pregnant woman with a belly that's really showing is most likely feeling hot, sweaty, bloated, uncomfortable, and feeling a constant urge to pee. Whether they are attention-seeking or tacky or tasteful or whatever - we can cut them some slack. Cos the entire future of humanity depends on women still being willing to make babies.

My bullshit meter is low, and I have a permanent lock and key on my birth canal. And while I will absolutely never understand the masochism of women to pop babies, the least I can do is let that pregnant woman just be.

Deepika will never do that. Likh ke le lo.

Also this girl is giving me Kim kardashian vibe.
