Rajan Shahi might be the boss of DKP but he does answer to the channel. Given the show is a slot leader TRP-wise and has good buzz, they would never have accepted an unceremonious sacking had things not gotten serious. No one wants to kill the golden goose. They’ve taken a huge gamble and it could well backfire. Given that Shahi has already lost one show, it makes no sense for him to sabotage a second one. If despite all of this, they’ve taken this bold step, there has to be a huge trigger. I don’t know about these actors in particular but actors can be absolute brats. Disrespect to co-stars and crew is so common, when success goes to their head. There had to have been clear escalation and they might have been preparing for this eventuality behind the scenes. Obviously it was no overnight decision. They had taken the time to do a photo shoot and release fresh pictures at the same time as they broke this news. I don’t know if the duo’s shenanigans, giving interviews etc had anything to do with it. While the set cannot be accessed by the press without the PH’s approval, it is not possible for them to police every single word said. Initially they might not have minded the negative publicity given the SM buzz but they may not have liked it at some point. Because there was a break from those couple interviews even if brief. Clearly the actors had been read the riot act. After a while, it started all over again. I presumed it was a switch in track and the PH had given the go ahead all over again. In my opinion, the Shivratri Abhishek BTS could have been a big trigger. This could have led to war of words. Because the actors are not a real-life couple, at least not publicly acknowledged, and they aren’t a pair on the show either. For them to perform the abhishek together was very very off. Rajan is a religious man, who is into tradition and custom, the EMA track notwisthstanding. My gut says this was the tipping-point and the actors doing their own thing despite multiple warnings kind of sealed their fate. This is my reading but there could be more or something entirely different. But this is a game of survival and no one will wilfully destroy their own home. Relationships and networking are key in the entertainment industry and reputations can be made and broken in minutes. Actors would do well to think of this. Speaking specifically about Pratiksha, I would blame the PH for casting her in the first place given that she is simply not capable of performing in front of the camera.

I feel RS should screen for humbleness also along with acting skills, before he hire someone... So that we need not suffer Humari pareshani hum kise bataye..

Pratiksha was a bad actress. Nevertheless, many production houses cast not-so-talented newcomers to curtail production costs.

Firstly, a new actor will get a fresher salary. Secondly, if they are not good enough, makers can negotiate lower pay under the pretext of giving them a golden opportunity to hone their acting skills.

In Pratiksha's case, the girl has beauty. So PH might have thought a pleasant face with mediocre acting skills at a low cost is a good deal. Unfortunately, in her case it backfired due to various reasons.

But I do think there's some truth to the talks, or else RS wouldn't have replaced them, especially the male lead of a show. Still, kicking them out that way was wrong.

As for the new Armaan, it's a risk RS took. But there were many who disliked Shez in that role, demanding him to get replaced. Those are the same people who accepted him as Armaan Poddar, so warming up to the new cast will take time. And those who watch it for Abhira will still watch, so no effect on TRP in my opinion. But if the new Armaan doesn't work out, there's a high possibility we're gonna get a new "achha adami."

Yes initially Sheh wasn't liked much. But slowly as his acting skills improved people began to accept him. As for trp if the audience is able to connect with the new actor then there is no stopping. Also 'chemistry' matters only for the online hype. Trp audience cares more about the story and the drama. I hope the actors are able to strike up the chemistry. Although it would take time.

I don't think rs would be foolish enuf to replace his ml overnight . There must be something big .

I think in all his shows now , he makes sure to not elevate the ml character this much....the story is totally focused on the fls and he chooses those with utmost care ...Like he won't think of replacing anupama unless he's thinking of a gen leap & revamp. At this point , he's showing a triangle & abhiman love story is progressing at a snails pace. Lol there r no ruhan fans who will waste their time writing petitions to bring them bk on show. So yeah he can easily take a the risk and he did it & I think it's for better . Sheh may have improved but he's not the ml material of a long running show..he had 4 months to prove himself but i dont think he has it in him..whatever success yrkkh gen 4 cud gather is bev of abhira plus armans character & the supportint cast & the fact that theyve been focussing on the story also... Pratiksha is horrible to begin with. Who will miss her

The main ML was not replaced.The other 2 were replaced.The FL quit when its plot changed.She said that she signed it as it was a youth show.But when the time slot changed thy turned it into a family story.So she cant do it.thats why they replaced her.Not sure about the other guy,

Those are fans assumptions. Actors don't have a say in their ship. They cannot intervene in the script. Nobody does, not even popular ones.

It's clear by now, that Shehzada was unprofessional and didn't treat crew properly which was why he was thrown away. Which is so unfortunate, because he was doing so well as Armaan Poddar ! If only he could have been more humble. Shehzada is not some big actor. Previous generation mein Harshad and Jay Soni were known faces, but they were praised by dkp for their humility and nature .

Actors having problems and creating problems is always there, Karan and Hina never spoke to each other yet they had good chemistry, it was after years Karan left the show and it came into light that something had gone too wrong,

Even with new comer RS knew what risk he was taking, and eventually she was learning, RS would not terminate Pratiksha’s contract with Shehzada at the same time.

so something else has happened. And that involves both of them. Was reading somewhere all the actors used have food/lunch together except these two. And from strating I had this feel they are too involved with each other.
