For me, the show reached a point where even if they show romance it will be forced. Ani isn't ready to believe he doesn't love Arshi anymore, Jhanak isn't showing any progress from "zabardasti kyun rakha hai khar pe and Arshi didi jaap"

Everyone knows that Ani is not as innocent as he makes it to be they are just trying to shift the blame on Jhanak. All of them are in the same nice as Ani self preservation or they just want to maintain status quo. They all want to make it sound like this all happened because of Jhanak. May be they all think that if Jhanak is removed from the scene Ani will come back to Arshi. While this may happen it will not be a whole hearted one. He will still be at the back of his mind thinking of k Jhanak. May be he is in love or you may call it obsession now. But you can't deny that Ani was infact attracted to get even in Kashmir . Even I felt the same...he was the one who wanted to spend time with her when he was in kashmir.. he enquired houseboat employee if he knew jhanak or not. He was the one who pursued her to have breakfast with him in his houseboat..later he accompanied her to their village.

During the hospital scene , Anirudh had spoken about Jhanak being innocent and many good things about her with tears rolling down ....without knowing she was Jhanak.

Now that he knows it was her is she assuming that would she have an idea about his soft corner for her . And that can connect to her outburst today and some dialogues of sudarjaye and badaljayee Arshi did ko dika mat dene and all ...

Ani was possessive and jealous even when talli Jhanak was dancing with an unknown guyAlso recently when someone was about to click her pictures he became all alert and didn't let him.
