It's Abhira who gets all the parallel with Gen 3 lead Akshu. The guitar, the room, the song

Only two char that Manish Goenka ever had soul connection  were Akshu and now Abhira

He never gets such signal for Ruhi

But sure Abhira hold no importance. It's all Ruhi Armaan.

Abhira hold here more importance ruhi's character is just degraded to an extent she can't redeemable she is shown as immoral and about ar they always justify ar no matter what

Yeah it is possible that offline audience connects with Roo more and maybe makers are doing this to set the base among online audience. Who knows! Criss cross has become makers' favourite term also .

audience already knows that it's repeatation and they will expect that at some point pl will marry ml.  so bindas kar rahe hai 

It’s interesting and happy  to see that  many ppl are interested in S3 FL and mL Akshnav’s Baby girl  Abhira Sharma’s story even after  what makers did. Abhira Sharma  is the Jaan of the show , Actually she is the lead of the show not just FL. 

 I don’t care  about the actors or their iv’s and their offscreen relationships until it effects  onscreen drama. Here it’s revolving around her and it will always do. 
  Akshara Sharma introduced her and Abhinav pyaar ki akari nishani Abhira Sharma to the audience and that’s the 1st promo of S4.

Tum mein se koi please explain karega kya who is the lead of the show
