Didn't you hear him when Ab asked why he doesn't want to meet Manav? He has time and again sid that getting married should be Ruhi's decision. If she doesn't want to he won't force her. He always has fbs of rejecting Ru asking her to get married to Ro and then Ro's death. He is scared that what if again he pushes Ru to the same fate.

He knows Ru loves him. He knows she hasn't moved on. He doesn't want ema and never did he even think of committing that. The day Ru got engaged to Ro she was off the charts. He knew her happiness lies in him. Where is the lie? But that isn't what keeps him from meeting Manav rather he wants that decision to be solely Ru's. He was surprised that Ru put him under the bus reagrding the marriage. He already blames himself for Ru's fate and now again she has put him again on the same pedestal to decide about her life. He is so emotionally drained atp. Mental exhaustion will take a toll on him. He has been crying for like a week now. Either Vidya, Dadisa, Charu, Ruhi and sometimes even Abhira put him through mental trauma! He was hurt that Abhira didn't confide in him with her problems. With others he is always guilt tripped into believing that he is somewhere responsible for all things that went wrong in their life. Cut this man some slack! I can't even imagine being in that place. I wonder how he has still not lost his sanity.

P.S. this is probably the last time I am going to counter Armaan haters for accusing him of ema. At this point I have chosen to believe that DKP releases alternate versions of episodes. If you want to disagree you can. I won't be responding further as I know this is futile. Moreover the lack of my response shouldn't be taken as my acceptance of your pov.

Ahh! The good old days- cant help but put this out here-

For hospital scene- it will be other way round. (These two were so intense in hospital scene)

Here they ruined second good emotional high. Yuvraj reaction was cold n this is also same.

First we get his confession that he knows nothing about Abhira and how he will care for one year? (Hasn’t forgotten deadline even in her poor health- responsibility for a year)

Second- the whole close moment is also accidental (as per BTS). He pushes a button by mistake n looks like he is close to Abhira- for Ruhi to misunderstand. Hesitates as soon as he sees Ruhi.

He wasn’t forgetting his deal n distance Like he does for Ruhi and has to be reminded of Abhira/Rohit. (Him feeding medicine to Ruhi was way more intimate).

What he is doing can easily be termed as reaction of a forever guilty man. He looks like he is feeling guilty for failing to care for Abhira- more than anything.

that was bad editing and direction .. but the emotions in the hospital was a lot more intense n painful ..

And rishta seems to be having different time clock..

Abhira went to office Charu came back from work but Abhira was still working .. and what was Armaan doing fixing his car ..

Today's episode was kinda great overall. There was finally MOVEMENT in the story. The director and writing was top notch.

1. The Ar-Ab auto scene was symbolising how if Ar doesn't grow a spine soon and doesn't let go of Ru, then Ab will cut ties with him. He is guilty, confused, everything, but he needs to take a decision. And be firm on that.

2. Ar-Ru's staircase scene with Ab's parallel was one of the best shot scenes in Rishta gen4. It clearly symbolised how Ru is the one coming in between Ab and Ar's rishta. It was a parallel to Ar-Ru's very first meeting where he saved her. Today Ru kind of repaid his debt by saving him. He should be free now.

3. Ru cornered him and was trying to get a confession out of him. His only thought was, why put me under the bus again? She wanted him to fight for her, fight for their love (just like last time) and just like last time, he ran for Ab. He will never make Ruhi his priority. His pagalpan is only reserved for Abhira.

4. The hospital scene was amazing. Starting from Armaan's desperation to his realisation of how less he knows Ab. He only views her as his zimmedaari. But she is his WIFE. He is always so preoccupied with Ru and her ddp, that he never took out time to get to know Abhira. That scene was amazingly written and enacted by Shehzada. Hopefully this is a turning point in their story. Hopefully this means that Armaan will put efforts into their relationship.

Precap - I will reserve my judgement for the actual episode.

After watching today I felt like I was out drinking with

But she is shouting on abhira wo bi as armaN wife.

Ek baar abhira Puri family k samne bol de ki armaan ki wife wo hai, not Ruhi. To shayd kisi k to eyes open hogi. .
