JeJ looks like a period drama. It doesn't feel contemporary set. JeJ is quite filmy. It is more classic BW/LW than classic PTV. The saazishi step-mother medicating her stepson to keep him incapacitated is not classic PTV. The evil step-brother who is eyeing the gaon ki gori is not classic PTV either. These are very filmy tropes. JeJ is more old school BW or LW than classic ptv. The evil stepmother who pretends to love her step son and got her husband out of the way IS Aruna Irani's cktr in Beta.

I agree. But, I meant in ways it has a better flow and the female lead hasn't been turned into a feminist. She can clearly distingush what is right and wrong. I was missing such female leads.It is very well executed and the actors playing also are great so overall it has a great experience, despite having a cliche storyline.

Yeah. I am loving it. Loving their pair. Wished they had done more shows together as hamza looks little bit old now. Still he has screen presence. Honestly had some researvations about the show due to clich storyline. But its far better than stories I was watching. For example Nijaat
