I told this around wedding episodes - actor playing urmila would be great as Sitaji - as her screen presence and vibes are better! Ram-laxman are the best, like all of them - playing brothers & their mothers.

I respectfully disagree...I have watched him in BW movies...remember Tangabaliii (although when I saw him first I was LMAO because all I could see was Tangabaliiiii) and he was also in Sooryavanshi so he can look evil when he needs to.

Also that scene when he goes to Shivji to complain about not being able to lift the dhanush, he looks angry at MAHADEV and I was like wow Ravaan, sharam kar le...this is MAHAKAL. So I can see him as Ravaan BUT again its subjective.

Also my mother likes Prachi....so again subjective

Oh I would have missed your post but yes the serenity is missing on her face which is there on Vaidehi and Sheersha ....even the 3 Dashrath queens and mata parvati one are good and beautiful and have divinity of tretayuga but not Sita ji ...in starplus lost show Ayesha Singh played Sita for a skit and she looked so divine that when this project was announced I wanted her to be Sita

Urmila actor is worse than Prachi actually. Her dialogue delevery in scene with Lakshman was very bad.

Vaidehi is very bad in dialogue delivery. We even discussed that on her sleeping day.

I feel like I want to do a week by week breakdown of what I think the episodes will be so we know if Sita haran will really happen in a month or if it will take 6 - 8 weeks.

However, I feel that might come under certain discussions and I ain't going to that particular thread because I personally don't like the vibes there. (Haha thinking of the "vaatavaran" dialogue in ADHM as I type this). So I will refrain and see if my assumptions/estimates turn out to be accurate.

I would like to add that Sujay as Sri Ram is the best casting in a mythological show since Nitesh uncle played Kanhaji in the OG Mahabharat.

He is just so so good.

It was a great episode today with Jabali and Ram’s debate! Sujay as usual nailed it the discussion on dharm and whose dharm to uphold etc was good, the dialogues were great! I just wish they had a proper precap I’m tired of seeing the same Hanuman promo over and over

regarding Prachi I’m sorry but I disagree with most of you I think that she’s doing a decent job (and she even did a decent job in the beginning) and has improved quite a lot. I guess I’ve seen just so many stone faced statues on itv and she’s a lot better than some of the star plus actors currently. I also think the makers have highlighted Ram (rightly so and also due to the current events happening) that Siya and Lakshman haven’t been given that much importance in this version IMO. The only other Ramayan I’ve seen is Siya Ke Ram so that’s my comparison point and in there they showed Sita’s perspective and role a lot more. I do think that the direction given to her needs to improve same with Nikitin as well! He’s been cast as a great Raavan esp since the one in SKR wasn’t up to the mark and looked more cartoonish than here.

If they did had to cast another person as Sita the actress who plays Parvati actually would’ve been apt! She’s stunning and she’s doing a great job as well! The girl playing Urmila is only a teenager and sorry to say she’s worse than Prachi. But I’m happy with Prachi mainly because her chemistry with Sujay is key in this version! Ashish and Madirakshi were good but their chemistry was the thing that drew me in to SKR and made me watch it till as long as I did, hope that SR utilizes Sujay and Prachi’s chemistry as well because they have effortless chemistry.

From someone who is already dead... very convincing somehow from this line a lot can be interpreted that had Kaikeyi realized this before so much wouldn't have happened.. Ram saying bahut der ho chuki hain was lit for me..

He knew his father died of putrashok and that was because of Kaikeyi

He is just palankarta of those vachans

Kaikeyi should have at least asked forgiveness from Dasrathji from her side

When she asked those vachans. Dasrathji told her to take back but she didn’t
how can everyone is ask to Ramji to return when Dasrathji is no more , if he would have been alive then no one had asked that
