It is getting views and it has TRP, it doesn't have discussion or controversies and sexual tension of 2 married people not doing it but touching each other with talwar of their consummation on their head

Ishq Murshid doesn't have sexual tension, if they add a plot where Shibra has to marry him for convenience and they don't sleep together or she makes him sleep on the floor, then you'll see people talking about it.

Right now, People talk about Nargis and Shahmeer

MH also didn't had forced marriage or haters to lovers troop or sexual tension between the leads and had the typical template of a Cinderella story with a roti Hui abla fl and naagin mil but it still generated discussions and people mostly talked about hala and hamza than hala getting tortured by shahjahaan. It was mostly about people getting butterflies every time hamza looks at hala with his honey gaze.

Neither MH nor TB had any unique story and what's shown in them are shown in most out pak dramas whereas IM has a storyline which is not much explored in pak dramas. All three dramas got views and rating but the chemistry of the leads had a lot to do with the success of mh and tb than IM.

A politician doing silly things in love is a fantasy kind of thing for general audience. Also the dialogues like 'jis raaste se Shibra guzre wahan dhool ban ke reh sakta hoon' add more to it. Dare Shahmeer force himself on Shibra after she rejects him we'll see the kind of discussions I am talking about.

The MR thing happened after like 40+ episodes and tb was already huge by that time. MH didn't had a toxic ml for pak drama standards. Both hala and hamza were pretty mild but still it blew up. MH also don't have will they won't they do it or suspense. Everyone knew shahjaahan was toxic from ep1 and it lasted till the last episode. It also dragged a lot. But still the craze remained the same. It even had an equally successful drama like ktk running around the same time and still didn't get affected. Ktk also had all the toxicity and had the views and rating as well but didn't generated much because the chemistry of the leads didn't click there as well. MH had more fan following than KTK throughout its run.

The thing is IM is not blowing up like TB or MH because it don't have the kind of chemistry MH or TB had. Literally every other pak dramas have haters to lovers troop or abla nari and knight in shinning armour story going on but not all became popular as TB or MH because the chemistry never clicked like meerab-murtu or hamza-hala.

The rich man is doing identity theft and lying and manipulating people around him using his power and connections. IM is glossing over the toxicity of shahmeer by making everything light hearted or justifying everything he does simply because shahmeer is calm and composed. He does things without using his fist.

Not denying anything about their chemistry. It has been the USP of the show. My point is strictly about the lack of discussions surrounding IM. X is the most vocal platform for discussions & TB generated insane number of discussions there because the audience had polarizing views since the start. And the difference in opinions was not only because of slap or MR. The MR promo just boosted it to the skies.

Same with MH. It was about Hala either getting a knight in shining armor for her or she herself being able to grow strong enough to fight the hardships of life.

Shibra is neither forced into anything nor is she dependent on ML's mercy.

I think hot chemistry is just used for chemistry that clicks. Srk and Kajol have immense chemistry but when they do scenes which generat sexual tension it becomes hot chemistry like that rain dance in kkhh.
