You're right, no audience will stay back to watch extreme level of negativity in the show. Imagine even after getting so many hints from sai & co, we're unable to convince ourselves to watch the episodes. Normal trp audience ka socho. First, agastya's death & now this. They surely have better content served in at the moment, why will they stick to imlie? More than half of the things is not understandable only.

I might be wrong. Even I don't want the show to lose trps. Let's see what happens

If you noticed, he pretended before Imlie that he didn’t know he looks like Agastya (the confrontation outside the station where he had hidden the picture ) and before the family too. Uff it’s really confusing .. ek tho from day one this show has no head or tail ( I don’t expect logic ) but some connection sone conclusion should be there so making predications fro this show is a waste of time

Agastya's death track did not get the trps jump that the creatives hoped for. Other shows main you have death track the trps jump up at least 0.2 or 0.3 points. Case in point the rival show on Zee TV which is Imlie's competitor saw trps jump when they had accident of leads. So maybe that audience likes that kind of twists.

Imlie got highest trps when they showed Agastya finally decoding Vishwa's blackmail and Imlie and Agastya foiling Vishwa ka plan to marry Imlie. So I feel Imlie's core audience likes the leads being together and like happy content or at least the leads being together.


I am afraid next week the trps will fall as Surya ka bewajah revenge is not going to go well with the audience. I am not sure what to think anymore. The team better do some course correction and at the least give some hints to the audience.

The makers will take it to the extreme to test the viewer’s reactions. After all this is a ITV show. They still need to decide on the story further.

I understand your take. But the thing is, josh josh mein makers thoda zyada kar rahe hain. They cannot drop direct hints at this stage but atleast kuch toh dikhao. They can show, Surya talking to somebody over phone & investigating some other case. That would give audience an idea ki chalo he has some other motive as well & hope to us(firm believers of the theory that Surya is ag) that he has a purpose behind all this.

Team Imlie is getting to party together a bit. It’s good to see them keep up the spirit despite the low TRP this week. The new track was risky but they’re working hard to bring in something new instead of the typical desi tv toxicity. So honestly, I’ll keep wishing my best for them.

See the thing is Imlie audience loves a fighter Imlie which is what the team is serving. I don't think they get frustrated with the sad scenes or with her pain because the trp audience loves atyachar on the female lead, some weird fetish this is.

Till the time they are showing Surya fun and spunky irritating Imlie it's good. Showing him do this extreme levels of mental torture is off putting ngl. That's the reason I enjoyed yesterday ka episode but didn't enjoy today's episode. As it is Imlie is being troubled from all sides and Surya is adding a lot more on her plate.

@Divya, very very likely this is Agastya with a memory loss. If so, not sure why Malti is not disturbed or tensed at being around Chaudhary fam (it is possible he can get his memories back right). Another possibility is that this is Agastya with no memory loss. He saw Surya at the accident place, he died and was cremated by the family and now Agastya is trying to (not sure how logical and compelling a reason they will make) protect his family by becoming Surya. There could be some reason for sure. The team is leaving hints all over the place which is why we all are confused every day.

They showed he cares for the Chaudhary family (his emotions around them are soft like how Agastya would have). I don't believe this stupid BIL drama because that doesn't seem to a burning concern for either Malti or Surya at this moment. He disappeared 2 weeks ago with no trace which would definitely be a bigger concern but Malti seems more chill.

May be he is being harsher with Imlie coz she should not doubt him (promo main she does mention that woh behak gayi meaning she felt he was Agastya for once). Unless he goes to such extreme, Imlie won't believe he is Surya and not Agastya? Whatever the reasons, Imlie was again asked to leave the house, her relationship with Agastya was questioned, her love for him was questioned, she became a maid of the house, she was blamed for his death. All this is way too much negativity to take.

Bold: They hv introduced a leap as well & the kids they've brought in are so cute. I watch that show's repeat telecast in the morning with my mom sometimes. And, it actually feels nice.

Red: The shows of that channel are not getting 2 Or above trps but you never know. If imlie's trp drops & theirs rises, show will be in trouble.

I think Agastya/Surya had 2 things in mind- one is, if he had just come and given Choudhary's their home and kept some for himself so he could live together, it would feel super-suspicious to anyone with two brain cells...and here we are talking about some killer who tried to kill Agastya..so of course, he had to do it in some tedha way...and divert the attention from the fact that he ended up giving the house to Choudharys. Also, anyone looking will immediately think that, if this is Agastya, he is going to have the softest corner for Imlie and wouldn't trouble her at all..so to not raise suspicions, he started khulla dushmani with Imlie..now nobody will wonder if he is Agastya... Second is- he didn't want Imlie to suffer as a house help..he, obviously, wants her around and has figured out a way for her to stay closeby (that's what he reassured Malti) but he couldn't see her suffering...

There were a couple of moments when the camera went to Agastya's face and he had that kind of "trying to read the situation" wala look...I dunno how to explain that..he was like evaluating how his plan is working out..how is everyone reacting..also a look as if, he knows some things but has to act like he doesnt know types...This has to be Agastya...

As for how audience will react abt him suffering Imlie..I think CVs count on TRP audience ki short term memory...that's how they get away with frequent plot changes, loopholes and illogical twists!!

anyone confused about today episode, this is the logical explanation of Surya actions. He successfully diverted family attention from the fact that why he is making them live in the house despite sharing no relationship with them and second he liberated Imlie from the maid avatar. Next time whenever she will enter Chaudhary house, she will enter as Imlie with dignity. She isn't a maid and she shouldn't be .There was comedy music added when Surya manipulated dadi and family . So writers aren't taking this episode as seriously as we are analysing.

Also after ousting her , he will again bring her in the house. That's why he is stopping her from leaving purwaiya.

Agree with what you are saying. But the point is that the extreme is becoming too extreme for me to even enjoy Surya - Imlie scenes. Today's scene was so not needed given that Imlie is going to come back in tomorrow's episode due to Surya's blackmail.(as per the script leak of Jugnu)

So Surya is going to get Imlie in the house back as his maid and the family is not going to say anything. And Surya is again going to taunt Imlie saying she is coming back even after getting insulted. What was the whole point of this tamasha if she has to come back the same day. He could have allowed Imlie in the house as Paro only na.

Yes I didn't enjoy the scene. It was disheartening to see Imlie run to stop dadi from drinking that drink. She didn't care at that point that she's blowing her cover. Surya tricked her and proved she's a liar. If he wanted to keep her in the house, doing this made literally no sense.

The family again didn't believe her and thinks she had ulterior motives to pretend being a maid and entering their house. Can they get done with the revenge marriage if that is where we are headed. Yeh roz roz ka tamasha toh band ho.
