Yes, those were the days. Though I joined IF after Pratyusha's exit, I loved reading those previous pages to know more about members' views on those episodes. We missed all that. Time never rewind, only memories can!

Today I share my fondest memory of Binaca Geet Mala, I am fond of music and songs from my childhood, and since we were staying in a small town where except Radio there was no other means of entertainment. Though people celebrated every festival and occasions of all religions but life was calm and steady. No hurry burry, no social media infact TV was newly launched in small towns wherein very few could afford it. In my growing up years say from class 6th I developed fascination of doing math's listening to Radio. Those days there were no these many FM stations, every Friday at 8 P.M Binaca Geet Mala used to broadcast in All India Radio. My mother kept a conditions that I should complete my reading before 8 P.M and then practice Math's listening to Radio. And I am very good in Maths, used to get full marks though. Really those were Golden days Very beautiful.

I used to see old songs on TV in my childhood. But, my dad oftentimes mentioned Binaka Geet Mala and Sayani Saab. Later, I listened to his voice and his unique presentation style on YouTube. With him, an important era ended.

Those were really wonderful days, when I discovered IF quite by accident because of BV. Then we got permission from the admin to write in serbian language because it turned out that there were surprisingly many of us. That's how I met Branka and many other good girls, and in the end that's how I met you too.

I remember a very similar radio from my childhood. Padmaja. I also remember black and white television. I feel nostalgic for those years and childhood. It seems to me that the years passed much more slowly then than now. I remember being very anxious to grow up. When that happened, now the years fly by at the speed of light.

After a long time I went for a walk.

Agree with all, Ameen Sayani was a brilliant news n entertainment presenter who revolutionized the radio entertainment industry. Those days only radio was entertainment and transistors which worked on batteries. Then black n white tv made its advent and later colour television. Life was so simple then and uncomplicated. Even seasons followed their discipline

BV is a serial which is made once in a century, where everything right falls in place, acting, script, direction, audience love, everything gelled. Truly iconic!
