Yes it is a remake of the Bengali show Jol Nupur.

But the plot has a bit of difference. Ani doesn't have a fiance and he wants the family to accept Jhanak. Arshi comes later on into the picture which leads to Ani and Jhanak's divorce.

So he is been in the industry for long time . I saw him first on Jhanak....No wonder he is good performer . I was impressed that he is doing so well in his debut itself ,but later someone in forum mentioned he has done a Zee show .

No idea if he dubbed for himself .

so most star shows are now remake . Did he act there too in the original .After marriage a third angle ....whichever language it is the third angle , divorce are must i guess for trp..

All the top 5 shows in TRP chart include some sort of a love triangle, it's a tried and tested method to get TRPs ig

Even I thought Krushal is a newbie and felt he's too good for a newbie lol, but he's a seasoned actor and is very good at what he does

Once he became friends with Jhanak he was very sweet towards her, so I'd like to believe Ani is inherently a nice sweet guy. When Jhanak's mother died he was very supportive towards her and he kinda understood what she's going through.

Now coming to why he shouted on Jhanak the same day. He was reassuring Arshi that Jhanak isn't a threat but a mere Kaamwaali Bhai, at the same time he was reassuring himself too that the marriage is a sham! That was a uncomfortable scene as the power dynamics got highlighted very well.

But I'd like to give him a benefit of doubt for that as the marriage was a traumatic incident for him too, in his trauma he kinda forgot Jhanak was going through something much more traumatic(loss of the only loved one) followed by a forced marriage.

Coming to the subsequent incidents he was being a huge a** towards Jhanak for no reason at all. He said whatever people say about her Mum is right just because he thought Rahul is Jhanak's bf. It doesn't make any sense for his character to act like that.

I felt very bad rewatching the scene. With in one day she became a naukrani once she reached Kolkata and Ani became a Malik to her. The funnies part in the scene Ani was talking about the goodness of heart of Arshi for which he fall for it seems 🤣 Not sure how come Ani kind of character fall for Arshi! If he ever come to know the part she played in ousting Janak from the house and calling Tejas, what would be Ani’s reaction?

lol I have to watch some of those initial episodes.

that’s why he thought maybe Arshi will help and support him in settling down Jhanak but forget abt helping…she wants Jhanak to disappear 🫠

They're also emphasizing on the fact that it's a very long relationship, I'm sure that'd gain relevance after Ani realizes his feelings towards Jhanak.

Honestly even I can't digest the fact that Ani feel for someone like Arshi. But Arshi is beautiful and successful so it's quite possible. Moreover she's someone who'd act good when everything is going as per her whims, once something goes against her she'd start showing her true colors!

Absolutely correct. Arshi shows the character trait of most of the human beings When everything goes according to their ways, they will be good otherwise they will start showing their true colors.For fictional drama they are slightly exaggerating this.

The fact that she is not hesitant to call Tejas or feel guilt even once seeing Jhanak being a maid and try to rationalize means that she is not like many humans. She didn’t even try the most popular method of giving Jhanak a job with accommodation elsewhere with the job as far away from dancing as possible. At least, many would have tried to be nice to have greater influence over her than Ani. Imagine the life decisions she could have influenced for Jhanak under the umbrella of ‘I mean good to you’. Arshi just straight up became antagonistic once Jhanak could dance.
