Arrey she did something akin to a dharna at SLB'S office along with Reshma Shetty when Inshallah got shelvedroz bhatakte rehte the to beg for Gangubai there were speculations that suggested they pulled the contract legalities to get that film.

Even for Love & War the news suggest she has been cast only coz she was able to convince RK who got the investors on board as no was willing to invest on her after that corporate "success" Gangubai

This, all on point. Say what you want about Katrina, Aishwarya or even Deepika as performers but they have the oomph and mass appeal that this one lacks severely. I have been pretty vocal about my dislike for her so feel free not to believe this but recently I was going around schools and colleges for some work related thing and I came across a group of class 7th students teasing a girl calling her nepo nepo over n over I intervened so she told me it was coz her name was Alia, imagine the ground level "popularity" she commands guess these things aren't just restricted to SM "echo chambers" even kids can see through the curation.

The fact that not a single film or role of her Blockbusters devoid filmography created any cultural impact weakens her case further. Dulhania series should have had repeat value but it has aged like milk

Guess what? Literally nobody has rewatched Raazi or Gangu, people have already erased it from their memory.....but until this day - people watch films like Devdas, Kal Ho Na Ho, and KKHH. Those performances are still appreciated even today and no its not nostalgia, because nobody is watching anything from previous generations.

No, I only know three, two of them in the title: Rani, Gangubhai and Kaira (Dear Zindagi), latter because of her brother Kiddo (but I'm not good in memorising names).

But it is right that I saw movies with her (except for DZ) only once...Alia's movies doesn't incite me to watch them multiple times...I would not watch a DZ with another Dr. Jug more than once, too, I suppose.
