It's too early to say that any track was "changed." What they showed in the promos could still happen eventually. By the time Yashodhan and Nivedita get engaged, Asim could grow possessive and say that no one in the family loves him except Nivedita.

Instead of killing off Devika, it would be more dramatic to have her hospitalized so that Rajendra has to look after her ... Yashodhan worries that Asim will hate him when he finds out that it was Yashodhan's idea that put Devika in the situation of moving out, where she got hurt ... after Asim is accepted into the first family, Devika wants Asim to live with her again.

Malati's feigned concern for Sumitra is the highlight of the crisis. She's delivering death by a thousand cuts by whispering the worst scenario imaginable at every point: Rajendra feels no remorse ... Nivedita deceived her mother because she's only loyal to her father ... when the father is unchaste in middle age, who will marry the daughter?

Take one false step with such lines of dialogue, and the audience won't be able to suspend disbelief that the other characters aren't seeing through Malati and angrily kicking her out. I admire the dialogue writer for keeping it so low-key, and the actress Anupama Takmoge for delivering every line with a face that could be mistaken for sincere, without so much as a twinkling eye.

A celebration ruined by a betrayal revealed in public, followed by characters crying in their finest clothes and heaviest jewelry, is commonplace on TV. Some daily dramas fill their calendar with these plot points. Characters who rub salt in wounds are usually abrasive and overtly hostile, and it's tempting to tune them out or fast-forward them. I feel that Niveditā Mājhī Tāī was too predictable with the video at the anniversary party, and could have dialed down the irony of everyone talking about Rajendra's honesty, but Malati is providing artistically satisfying drama.

I have seen a few of the supporting actors on Niveditā Mājhī Tāī in other projects, and I think their talent was always there, but this show consistently gives them opportunities to shine. For example, Anupama Takmoge played a multifaceted character, Shyamal the actress, on Piratīçā Vanavā Urī Peṭalā, and she was enjoyable as a mean drunk, a modern career woman pretending to be frumpy and ailing, a loyal friend in a crisis ... Playing Malati, however, she's making an even stronger impression with this "revenge is a dish best served cold" attitude.

Vitthal Dakave is credited as the director, and he deserves praise for bringing out the best from all the actors.

When Devika informed Yashodhan that Vinayak knew about Rajendra's affair, I never expected Yashodhan to jump to the conclusion that Rajendra must have been exposed by Vinayak.

The argument between Yash and Naik Sāheba was an excellent scene. No loud background music, just indignation from both son and father.

I loved Shiva's strained relationship with his father Yashavant on Jīva Zhālā Yeḍāpisā. Ashok Phal Dessai was excellent then, and I'm enjoying his work so far with the actor playing Vinayak, creating a different conflict of values.

When a doctor has determined that a patient is "sinking," is it standard procedure to have no staff in the room, only visitors, while the patient dies?

Devika was able to focus her eyes, talk coherently, and initiate hand-holding, without any indication of agony or anaesthesia. Which of her organs were failing, exactly? Would it have been wrong to try to restart her heart?

Asim went from critical condition to sitting up with no monitors. Soon, he'll be wandering the hallways.

Whole hospital sequence was artificial to be honest

And in this story all secrets are revealed in few days. Now yash knows who are the culprits spoiled the anniversary function.

I wonder what are they chasing…very fast paced story. This plot would have lasted for a year or two in other channels 

Ketaki making popcorn for the schadenfreude party, after Yashodhan threatened to backhand her (three times) for her behaviour, and snatched her pen drive as proof that could spoil the trio's fun, wasn't very believable.

The conversation between Rajendra and Nivedita on Monday's episode was mostly believable.

Rajendra was feeling despair, assuming that he couldn't fulfil his responsibility to care for Asim at home because that would be unbearable for Sumitra. Leaving, even without knowing where he and Asim would stay, seemed like his only option.

Nivedita wanted to believe that their family could adjust. She needed Rajendra to be the father that she thought he was. Surely, she thought, we're all decent enough to treat a child with dignity.

Neither Rajendra nor Nivedita mentioned money, but that should have been a huge consideration. Rajendra was the sole breadwinner of the family until Nivedita started her job the other day. What would happen if Ashvini succeeded in her effort to get Nivedita sacked? Would Rajendra be able to support two households, now that Devika isn't earning her own income and limiting his contribution to Asim? Whatever money Rajendra spent on Asim already, taking Devika and Asim on outings, was at the expense of Sumitra cooking meals at home when Nihar wanted to go out to eat. Resentment for that would be natural.

Sumitra's indignation is understandable. She doesn't deserve the sight of Asim (or Rajendra) every day in her own home, which would constantly remind her of Rajendra's betrayal. She has to consider Nihar's feelings. She wouldn't be proud of herself if she said anything unkind to Asim.

However, either Rajendra or Nivedita should speak up to correct Sumitra's belief that Nivedita knew all along, took Rajendra's side, is equally at fault ... Instead of standing there, looking hurt, they should say that Nivedita only found out the day she met Kunal, she has been upset ever since, and she urged Rajendra to confess.

Sumitra and Nihar might feel better knowing that Nivedita isn't heartless.

nivedita meanwhile is shown torn because she has promised to devika at the same time her mom is terribly hurt 

Rajendra is the culprit here but they make him quiet 

Good to see Nivi pouring her heart out to yash because so far they have yet to show their friendship strong. 

The car that killed Devika was driven by Abhay while drunk! That is surprising in so many ways.

1. We didn't know that Abhay drinks until Malati made a face at the smell when he came home after Devika died, in the February 15 episode.

2. If Abhay or Ashvini has a car, why didn't he drive some of the family to the restaurant, instead of Yashodhan helping himself to a minivan that he was servicing, and Rashi riding on Vinayak's lap because there were only seven seats?

3. Why didn't Devika step back when she saw Abhay's car slowly coming head-on? The car was so close to the wall that if Devika had finished crossing in front of it, she would have been crushed against the wall. Why did Devika walk up to the oncoming car and then turn to smile at Asim? How did Abhay have the presence of mind to honk the horn twice, instead of slamming on the brake sooner?

4. In the February 13 episode, at the 25th anniversary party, we saw Abhay sitting next to Ramanath, before the car hit Devika and after she reached the hospital. How could he be in two places at once?

5. In the February 12 and 13 episodes, at the moment the car struck Devika, the driver appeared to have a mustache and beard. How did Abhay grow that much facial hair within one evening, just to shave it off again?
