Her initial reaction was fbs of what she saw Virat doing with Amruta... and acc to her he is crossing a line. Connecting that she concludes its his fault. Probably on giving it more thought she mentions it is likely his fault. 'While both are responsible for the relationship and divorce, its mostly the man too' - the reason she says she isnt 'purana khayalaat wali' - i'd guess most will just jump to have the wife at fault.

I have to guess she will take it on a case by case thing. The two scenes were coloured by 2 things... One Harsh and second the unnecessary confusion they wanted to create. But her saying 'mostly its the man's fault' makes me think she prefers to look at some evidence before coming to a conclusion .. and she had a bit of it with Virat - enough to say 'I feel he is at fault'.

[But on another level, should be none of her business... but can give her the pass that at least she looks at evidence before coming to conclusion.]

Her General prospective is that both are at both are at fault for broken marriage but in case of Virat she thinks it will be his fault as from day one she have problem with his dressing style , attitude etc so based on that she concluded he must be at fault. Also she knows who told her the truth as she mentioned lady who comes to ask for sugar etc. before breaking the suspense.

I will maybe watch those bits once more. To me, it felt like she was being judgemental without knowing context. But you people make more sense.

Wonder how Aaji is going to take in the news of her son's extramarital affair. Looks like her son is not in awe of her strictness; if he was, he would not do such a thing for fear of her anger.

I also wonder whether Babita will be in the right frame of mind to tell Aaji about her son’s EMA. She had vowed to destroy the Chitnis family’s peace, happiness. Now Aaji has check mated her with Virat’s divorcee status exposure. Aaji will be devastated for sure, be angry and upset with Amruta-Bhavani as well for hiding the news. Jayesh knows her strictness, but always had a roving eye for ladies, thought he could commit an EMA in Mumbai, away from his mother’s attention and hopes the news never comes out.

Virat asks Amruta twice if she passed the info to Aaji. She remains silent... at least in the precap.

This to me questions the need for that scene with Aaji - Ammu - Bhavani. Her reaction in the precap would've made more sense if this was the first time she heard of it from Aaji - kind of a stunned silence. Or may be here she is aware of how it may hurt Virat... but the silence doesn't help.

Yeah.. but then Ammu asked and later wondered who told this to aaji. Bol to diya tha!!!

btw, feel it was better for the character if they showed Aaji scolding Ishika for gossiping about it. (or at least say something like 'tu... tumse aur ummeed bhi kya kar sakte hai!' Do appreciate that she mentioned to Ammu she wont say it to anyone except if... can be argued even she knows the condition cant be met.. but at least she had that courtesy.

He asked in front of everybody ? But will Aaji remain silent, though Amu might? Don't think so. Although most likely someone else may say something else to distract them like Bhavani may say.. 'zaau de na saasubai.' And for that intense scene, his MU shouldn't be solved. And most likely it will be shown on Sunday or Monday episode..
