Yesterday, I locked myself out of my room by accident so I was a bit in an off mood by the time I was done dealing with it. I had just enough time to watch the episode, read y’all post and write mine before heading to bed. Just woke up to y’all kind replies, it really brought warmth to my heart.

I’m honestly so glad to have discovered the AT. I was a silent reader for such a long time but it feels nice to be able to discuss the episodes here in details. I feel like when I like something that I have so much to say.

Sharing this space with all of you, it honestly completes my day. I always get new insights or laughter from y’all post.

I’ve been loving Sai and Adrija’s performances. I discovered them both through this show and honestly so much respect for them. The history that a lot of y’all have with Sai really allows us to see the growth and progress in his acting.

I feel like with this show, they really allowed his eyes to be put to work. Ever since the wig has been gone, his eyes have been so loud and expressive. Adrija has these big beautiful eyes as well and I feel like this is one of the few shows where both the male and female lead are able to charm us with their looks, expressions and acting to the same level.

There are certain episodes where Adrija eerily reminds me of Sumbul and Megha’s Imlie in the best way possible. Sai on the other hand is really bringing his own twist to the “angry young man” trope. We had Gul’s ASR’s for many years but I think ASC is becoming my favourite. They are writing him to be so sensible and understanding. Gul did an amazing job with the casting of the leads for this season!

I hope all of us continue to have these amazing conversation as long as the show allows us! A lot of build up towards tonight episode so let’s see if it actually comes to fruition in a satisfying way. They even roped in a bigger ITV/movie actress like Aruna-jhi as the fortune teller, I feel like Imlie3 is finally getting some recognition from the channel.

Sai eyelashes looked so beautiful when he shared the first bts before the first promo shoot. This show has some mystery connection wrt presenting the beauty of his eyes to the world .

Absolutely yes . ASC is turning out to be extremely well written character. Sai is lucky to have gotten such meaty character in a female titled show . ASC is equal part aggression and equally caring towards the people whom he loves with all his heart. He doesn't unnecessarily show his wrath on the people who don't deserve it. Also his love and respect for his dadi Maa is admirable.

SP has 40 minute episodes to compete the BB for all prime time shows except the only prime time show that is not working and SP has no guts to axe.

So Imlie will air from 8.40 to 9.20 on Sunday. All shows have a high point and it is because of BB finale. All these shows have someone popular coming like Aruna Irani in our show/ Aditya Narayan and all.

If our air time is 8:40 to 9:20, will our padosi benefit from this overlapping of time slot. I hope the TRP are averaged fairly.

yes padosi gets 20 minutes time from our show and ten mins from YRK. They again get 2 trp this week (average) without even moving a finger

SP bias channel. How much our show and leads need to slog and always worry about the axe due to their partiality.

Waise Addy had an early packup today. Not sure if Sai had one too. He was active on insta so may be had a lot of scenes to accommodate for Addy.

Despite being his fan, I never observed his eyes before this show. The execution and how the camera uses his good angles (to highlight his deep eyes and jawline etc.). This man is gorgeous and I am not someone who is drawn to his looks lol.

As a character, I am biased towards his first one (will always be) but ASC is a very well written character. It is a classic Gul lead just like how Maan or Shivaay was. You are right Agastya is not overly angry and is more practical and fair. I love how he cries too and isn't always hiding away his emotions. His trauma and past makes him such a compassionate and warm person. Akhrot ka chilka is really a coconut.

I think today also they were shooting the Manno Bua ka swamvyar festivities so Sai and rest of supporting cast would have managed adrija absence.

Today’s episode was so good! My favourite thing has to be the way Agastya was looking at Imlie the whole time. There’s this tenderness that comes with care and concern. Sai brilliantly pulled off those subtle expression, he really became Agastya for me in those moments. There has been so much improvement in Sai as an actor. He is able to pull off these subtle expressions without effort. We call these micro expressions (a word he has used earlier lol). His eyes speak. Yesterday in that scene in the room he didn't have dialogues but it was such an impactful scene.

Imlie finally opened up to Agastya. I feel like this whole time she was kind of a closed book when it came to her feelings regarding her past. Obviously, August Babu knows present her really well but the pain from her own childhood was never discussed. They briefly mentioned stuff relating to Meera during the investigation to find the masked killer. But this is the first time she shared how lonely she has felt all these years. I mentioned this in my post too. This was probably the first time she opened up about how lonely she was and how much she craved for a family. This is why she feels so attached to his family coz she so badly wanted a family too. I have always been talking about how Agastya overcompensates for this family because he somewhere feels indebted to them for taking him in. Imlie also feels similar due to her own craving for a family. She feels she needs to do her best, prove her love too.

We got another beautiful scene where Imlie seeks comfort in her Babu’s arm. These two are perfectly in sync with eachother during these kinds of emotional scenes. This reminded me a bit of the scene where Agastya was crying in her lap on Karwa Chauth. He talked about the world’s perception of him as this strong confident guy but how deep down he was so lonely. He even went on to speak about how much he yearns for his parent and how he wishes they were alive. It was such a vulnerable moment and it definitely contributed to softening Imlie’s heart towards Agastya. We also had this wholesome conversation after Imlie broke her fast where they both wished for the other to find happiness and love. It was their first really genuine moment before all hell broke loose with the fire, the bar singer reveal and revenge family. Oh thanks for reminding me of these older scenes. Unlike all of you, I dont usually go back to rewatch the scenes so sometimes it is easier to forget the older scenes. Yes that scene and even the one in the mountain where he cries after Sonali discloses the truth about his past. Both these scenes where Agastya pours his heart out was beautiful. Rarely you will see an emotional side to a male lead. I also loved how genuinely during the KC scene both of them wished a real marriage for the other and it did come true today.

I love how Agastya shared his feelings in front of everybody. No hesitation, just pure love and admiration for his partner. Even Alka’s words couldn’t get him to take his eyes off Imlie. The entire confession has been executed so nicely in this show. It’s been innocent, playful, emotional, intense and there’s been room for so much emotional intimacy. I do agree that the proposal was a bit crowded and some of the background expression didn’t match the emotions that should’ve been portrayed. But overall, it was August Babu’s words that took the spotlight for me. One of the good things is that the family is so tuned to what they both feel for each other. Despite how they started off, everyone knows they love each other right now and see a future together. I loved all 3 proposals - Agastya ka before Kaki, hers outside at the angan and now this one before the family. The way they have accepted the flaws of each other and despite all that want to be together is very well highlighted.

I also think that Imlie probably felt a bit suspicious. Given how distraught she was from the situation, the timing of it might’ve felt a bit off. But they needed it, after the Meera track, the remarriage is what should bring in a lot of TRPs. Alka’s words feel super ominous with all the effects they added to it. It has me worried a bit because it’s pretty scary implications. That scene looked a big off because there was no follow up to Imlie ke thoughts. Alka is the only one who is playing a proper trp character lol. Male lead ki jaan ko khatra and how the female lead will save him is a top tier trp track.

I love how Sonali is always the one who notices when something is off with Imlie or Agastya. She’s finally getting more screen time! Brillant actress and we got to see her share the screen with her Lalla, Amrit and even a cute scene with Amar. Agastya and her have come such a long way, Imlie truly brought such change to their entire dynamic. I still remember when they used to exchange the coin as a way to gloat about their wins amidst their battles. And now they fight for eachother, Sonali asking her Lala to choose love and let her uncover the truth of the locket is the kind of thing I’ve been wanting to see forever. I am very happy to see her screen time increase. This also means Sai and Adrija get more time to relax and the audience also gets an interesting parallel track. I loved their dynamic from the start. I think losing Amrit made her realise how fickle the fight for the business was. Same with Agastya, when he realised that he actually went to the extent of marrying someone as a contract for the business.

I skipped the precap the first time, so I went back to watch it. Aruna-jhi definitely brings in a melancholic vibe to the fortune teller, it’s much more compelling. She’s the messenger that has to pass along unfortunate news and Imlie’s panic made more sense than the initial anger that was shown in the previous precap. I’m excited to see August Babu and Imlie’s wedding rituals!!!

This is a classic trp track. Hopefully we are able to get more drama in the coming days. The shaadi will happen but not so easily. There will definitely be a lot of obstacles along the way.

I have been a silent reader for a very long time, used to come for reading FF of my favourite shows.. Then I got interested in another show, & just when I stared getting involved, the Jeth Bhabhi negativity became too much.. but here, the Imlie Gen 3 is giving me a reason to participate.. Its positive.. I hope it stays the same.. And yes, i agree with @joliefemme, irrespective of the quantity of comments, the quality and healthy discussions matter.. I appreciate with how much nuance, all of us are watching and debating on the show..

I have liked Sai since MHRW days, but I will say this...the show did him injustice, also it ended abruptly.. and don't get me started on the last one.. such bad writing, storytelling and casting except Sai.. Like others, I am glad, he did get casted in Imlie and getting to utilise his potential.. Someone in some other post, compared his & Imlie's story to Darcy & Elizabeth.. and I agree 💯

P.S. - On another note, gals do watch Fighter movie.. Hrithik is simply scrumptious ❤️🤗
