Yumna’s had reservations in the past but is obviously quite comfortable with Wahaj. She gave a recent interview where she sounded quite open to the idea of a hug. She understood the fans request apparently. Let’s see. Maybe Season 2 for her 😉

Lately Pakistani dramas have been pretty chill about hugs and tiny pecks so you never know 🤷‍♀️ Wahaj for one has zero issues. He’s done plenty of hugs, even a couple in Mein with Azeekah 😍 , so he’s chill ✌️

And lately at least Geo and ARY both have been okay with it. Hum tv I’m not sure about. It’s all so silly really. No issues showing violence and blood and abuse but they draw the line at normal physical affection 😂

tere bin had a hug and hand kiss which the tere bin editor uncle deleted. but you can see it in bts.

but yes hugs are now quiet commonplace in dramas - esp. geo dramas.

fairy tale toh even gave a cheek kiss (peck) and multiple hand kisses.

so it depends a lot on comfort level of actors.

I was talking in general. I feel, they don't have such hug scenes for the couple which audience hugely wants.

But if I remember yumna hugged Bilal in pks.

Also if you ask me, it's not like they don't hug people from opp gender. They do that. But onscreen they have reservations. Then there are hug & pecks between bro-sis & father-daughter, mother-son. Only thing remaining is between a couple. I am not saying to just have hugs in romantic scenes just like that for no reason. but in certain situations they should have that or else just sit a little close like couples do..

Yes. Wahaj has no issues. Zahid Ahmed has no issues as well. Infact he talked about this. He had told we don't have prob in showing physical/ domestic violence but we don't show a normal sweet physical affection which should change.
