Agree family is very important to him During Ruhi-Rohit marriage I can still understand Rohit was a good guy so he thought Ruhi will ultimately fall in love with Rohit and all would be good but now there is no way Ruhi can be happy unless he is thinking of uniting with her. At this time if he still thinks only about Dadisa's wishes then it would be a let down. So far he has been shown to care about everyone not just his family. Otherwise there was no need for him to support Abhira which sometimes meant going against fam's wishes.
