Also sexual assault is a big thing. Like Ayra said ā€œshe can be a bad person but she can never make this big allegation upā€ - If Zaid trusts anyone else besides her, he’s deader to me than he is already lol

It’s something he shouldn’t even think about or second guess. It’s a big effing deal for your wife to be telling you this - he ignored her the first time and if he’s still even a little unsure now ? It will be extremely icky - and we will just be back to Zaid’s red flags again šŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø

The MJ-Zaid rain scene is their best scene in the show according to me. I feel this is the only scene where they both are equally and openly in love without any inhibitions . When two great actors have chemistry, you don’t even need dialogues to understand what they feel.

I feel Zaid's Turkey wardrobe is nice. It's just that he doesn't ooze the fashion sense Mubashira or Rayaan or even Asif has. Kash keeps to a simple style though it certainly doesn't look cheap. Ayra has updated her wardrobe to allow few beads etc.

Zaid tries to somehow match bit more with middle class sensibilities at times...he might be reverse class conscious. 🤭 It's in line with his character, though. There should be some scope for MJ to improve on his wardrobe.

We should hold a celebration when/if it happens because Zaid contemplating on his shitty behavior in the past ? and actually getting ANY perspective? THIS IS HUGE šŸ˜‚

maybe it’ll be the last episode šŸ˜‚

I don’t think Ayra is innocent. She is flawed but I also don’t like how her flaws are somehow considered huge but Zaid and MJ’s bigger flaws are downplayed. Maybe it’s easier to accept MJ’s flaws because she is a certified problematic and flawed character from the get go and when Ayra acts holier than thou, it’s just irritating. I get it. But for me placing the blame on Ayra and her behavior shouldn’t take away of what Zaid should have done and how.

Ayra exists to test Zaid and MJ’s characters. Not the other way around. Which is why whatever happens to Ayra is the plot and the other main characters ā€œreactā€ to it.

Zaid has been a weak man from the get go. Whenever this man faces a challenge or rough patch in a relationship, he will act out and not behave like a mature person. Remember how he treated MJ when they were in a rough patch? That’s a weak man who can’t stand by his decisions. To this day we have never seen him acknowledge his role in the Nikkah and how unfair he was to MJ. He never brings it up.

Then his promises and reassurances to Ayra. I understand that she tested him a lot. That’s NOT up for debate. But his reactions certainly are. Remember when they were having a rough patch - zaid with Biwi 2 - and he went to punish Ayra by spending the night at MJ’s room? His reaction to Ayra’s action of working late. Being lonely doesn’t make this a proportionate reaction. I’m just talking about Zaid here mind you, not Ayra. Then his Biwi gets fired, loses the contract, and what does he do? He holds off telling her about the Turkey trip and then doesn’t even fight enough for her to convince his dad. He leaves her there when she was already miserable and goes off on this trip. Dont even get me started on the Rayaan bit. That I feel was ooc but again to show his weakness as the protector and savior he promised to be for Ayra. He has failed in every sense for the REASON he wanted to marry Ayra in the first place. Forget love. He should have kept her close no matter what - he should have put his foot down in front of both Ayra AND asif. But he’s like a ping pong ball - makes these grand promises and then fails to properly sustain them.

You’re right about the phone calls though. It was shitty of Ayra not to pick up. But the fact is if he was really thinking of her he would have taken her with him and not left her behind šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø He wanted to but got shut up by his dad. So he tries but ends up falling flat and being dominated by others. He’s just weak man. Nothing else to be said about it. He has no say in anything.

Imagine him and MJs future. If they ever have a rough patch, he’s always going to handle it not so well. That’s what the show has proven when he’s had rough patches with both MJ and Ayra. He is all sweet and nice and full of promises when things are hunky dory and convenient but he fails at integrity and sustaining promises/decisions when truly tested. He’s just too easily influenced šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø

you may not see it like that but these are my thoughts. Zaid is a very problematic individual which is why his endgame with MJ makes sense. They’re both deeply deeply flawed. When she gives him shit, he gives her shit too. When she’s civil, he’s civil too. It’ll just be like that between them. But if they ever face a rough patch, it’s MJ who’ll be doing all the work lol. Zaid is not to be trusted in rough times

Yes everyone is problematic on this show, and that’s what makes it interesting and annoying at the same time šŸ˜‚

I hear you about Zaid treating MJ unfairly at the beginning. He really did. I don’t agree with the Ayra stuff. I think he went to talk to MJ because he needed company not as punishment to Ayra for working late. Ayra working for the competitor was the biggest issue because it was completely against Zaid’s wishes. I side with Zaid here. I don’t know in what world, anyone would be okay with that. If Zaid has insisted on having Ayra come with him on this Turkey trip, he would have annoyed the hell out of me. I was even annoyed that he asked. MJ is going as someone who works for the company, not as Zaid’s wife. Ayra didn’t want to work for the company because MJ would be there, and worked for the competition instead, why would she want to or even be considered to go to the Turkey trip? Wouldn’t she just sulk and feel like a loser when the two of them went to meetings? There was no need for her to be there. I don’t go on business trips with my husband.

I don’t think Ayra is a bad person, some ego issues sure but she has been through a lot and I do want her to get justice. This story is going to end with Zaid/Ayra, Zaid/MJ or everyone going off on their own. If you think about Zaid as a person, he’s great. He’s nice and polite to his staff, he doesn’t scheme and he’s very good at his job. All these traits become insignificant when the story’s ending will be who he will end up with. So ultimately the most contributing factors are going to be how they treat each other. His issues lie within how he treats his partners. I found issue with how he treated MJ especially right at the beginning. There’s progress and growth on his part here. MJ too may have bad characteristics and may not always treat others well but she has never wronged Zaid. I don’t think she’s faking anymore either. She genuinely seems to have fallen for him. So there’s growth there too.

Even Ayra, as a person is very smart (she bagged the contract with no experience, lol) and is strong in the way that she stood up to Rayyan. As a partner to Zaid though, has she ever value Zaid? I mean this from the very beginning. The rude, dismissive behaviour when he called her at work. I get she is busy it wasn’t the nicest way to talk to anyone. I have a husband myself who calls me a lot and after all these years of marriage, I would still feel bad being that cold to him especially when he’s calling just to hear my voice. She values her own time but doesn’t feel bad wasting his time by playing that weird mind game of having him drive back and forth. She is notorious for ignoring his calls throughout the show, not sharing information with him but she complains about how he told her about the Turkey trip last minute and accuses him of not checking in on her. Not taking care of the Rayyan thing can be blamed on Zaid but Ayra kept him very busy with other issues. Other than that I feel like does a lot for her. Almost too much that it annoys me.

It’s not that I think Ayra is more flawed than anyone else but it’s that holier than thou attitude like you said. She sees no flaws of her own but has a million complaints about Zaid. It’s the fact that I’ve never seen her prioritize Zaid or think about how her actions affect him, that makes me not root for them as a couple.

Yeah I’m curious to see how he explains that. I always was from the minute he locked her up. What was his plan for after Zaid returned? Is he just going to deny it and make the staff agree?

He should ultimately believe her and he should know Ayra wouldn’t make that up. Also he knows Asif is crooked but is he willing to accept that his father would let something like this slide? Asif was noticeably disturbed by Rayyan’s behaviour. It’s obvious he doesn’t approve but his need to save his reputation and throw Ayra under the bus is more important to him. Asif knows Ayra is going to tell Zaid everything and is coming up with a plan. I think Zaid will ultimately believe Ayra but with all the information being thrown at him, I’m not sure we’ll get an angry reaction.

I’m guessing she is putting his outfits together in Turkey because she is asking nicely, lol

I was thinking of this scene too. I’m not seeing scenes where they are out of the house. Does Zaid leave with Ayra? I can’t see Ayra wanting to stay after this. We also still have that scene of Ayra asking for the 4 crores.
