Rishta has not fallen to Ghum level crassness. The basic plot is similar, but execution is not. That's what I felt.

Every story in the initial " falling in love " phase works with a little drama elements , a bold fl, and SaaS bahu friction. However as they complete their run , all stories on itv turn crap ..but s3 was crap to begin with & stayed consistent.

S3 was trolled more than any other season , the viewers were polarised , whereas majority love s4 as evident frm the dt's everyday inspite of the take off frm ghum ..if they manage to keep this bhabhi devar angle low key & not give prominence to ruhi , yrkkh will be different .
