This reminded me of someone in this forum who made a thread asking for lift scenes in ptv. Personally I don't understand the lift scene fetish.

Old itv dramas used to have tons of these lift scenes and dupatta flying to the heroes

Rao has been styling bilal even when be was relatively new and he is an outsider. Both tabish and Rao seems to like sajal esp tabish. Sajal seems to be his darling. But Rao don't like maya for obvious reasons.

I guess they are classist rather than being mean to an outsider. If the outsider is from a well to do family and is getting noticed from the start they won't be mean to them. But Usama seems to be from a normal family and not from the big city. So the mean girl vibes from them.
