I'm accustomed that, e.g., churches/cathedrals etc, can only be entered after having paid money to do so...especially the famous ones (it's only free during religious services)...that had been the reason why I asked. But you said you’ve been to many temples during your stay in India - did any of them charge you? I can understand someone who has never been to a temple but you toh have been to many, you said so yourself just today. Then why the ignorance? I named it "national" because of everything (on a national/political level) that had been surrounded the (re-)building of the temple since decades... i guess we’re just making up names now. AFAIK Sagrada Familia is not the “national church of spain”? If you knew literally anything about Hinduism, you wouldn’t call it that. But clearly there’s a massive gap of knowledge there.
