actually in Islam if you get remarried without your first wife’s approval it isn’t valid . These men just rewrite the rules for themselves

As per my knowledge, the first wife's permission is needed otherwise you can't marry. There is a famous anecdote related to the Prophet saying this to his son-in-law.(please correct me if I'm wrong)

But most ppl don't follow that

wrong in Islam if you want to get married again first wife approval is not needed.
