But you are forgetting she left because in the leadup to her leaving and afterwards, all she saw was Seerat everywhere with Angad including being on angad's arm wearing that special dress

Remember when Sahiba found out Seerat said ILU, Angad tried explaining for a little bit but lost patience, got angry and stormed out. Only next day he talked with Veer and calmed down etc

Here Angad has been abusing her since Mumbai. Sahiba has been manofying him since then and putting up with all his abuse. Last few episodes have been horrible. Just showing different ways to inflict pain

People conveniently forget all her warnings to angad before proposal, all angad's casual behavior, his Seerat's defense etc. She tried to talk to him n number of times before but he never had patience to listen to her POV. why should she then talk to him because she saw he was proposing to Seerat. also how was she supposed to know he did not see the girl's face. so if angad was happy with Seerat and Seerat was already after him she dignifiedly left them alone without creating a scene like Garry created while leaving

so personally i don't blame her for not talking. what was there left to talk from her POV?

Sahiba is naive, she believes in second chances but she has suffered a LOT for her or someone else mistakes all the time. Bhale wo Seerat mandap se bhagi ho ya manbeer ne 8 year old girl child ko kidnap karaya ho ya phir angad ne wrong proposal kiya ho.

Finally, I am new to the terminology on this forum. I do not get this whole whitewashing business.

How did Sahiba whitewash Seerat?

After Sahiba replaced Seerat at the wedding, the whole siyappa was about Angad believing Sahiba was the one who forced Seerat to leave, that it was Sahiba who wanted Seerat's place all along, that there was no boy with whom Seerat ran away, Seerat was not guilty

He believed Sahiba was evil

Even when Sahiba was trying to save Seerat from killing herself, even after Sahiba threw herself into the river to save Serat, Angad still believed this was Sahiba's doing

Sahiba then made a promise to prove that there was a boy with whom Seerat ran away in 7 days. She did this to clear her name, not to whitewash.

So what whitewash?

At the gurudwara when Angad was confronted with Garry-Seerat drama, he refused to believe it and again blamed Sahiba.

After that the challenge changed from "Sahiba took Seerat's place at the wedding because she wanted Angad" ---> "Garry was the one Seerat eloped with"

Seerat was pretty honest that evening when she confronted Garry and admitted to her own actions.

So, what whitewashing?

Let's say Sahiba was wrong here. Even then, Angad knew that Seerat was the problem. It was because of his over-niceness to Seerat that she left him. And yet, he chose to be all friendly with Seerat, let her renovate his room, didnt even bat an eyelid when she wore his wifes gown or even when she bad mouthed his wife. He chose to remain mum. What about that? How can someone defend him there?

Fast forward to this day. Somewhat same scenario. Sahiba is friendly with Garry, gave him a second chance. But the same Angad, who was not ready to keep Seerat at an arms distance evn when his wife left him, wants Sahiba to stop talking to Garry? They don't chipkao to each other nor has she let him renovate their room 😒😒.. But our Paaji wants his wife to dance to his tunes.. While he can have his ex-flame stay in his BM....What a hypocrite... ! Sahiba ki kismat hi kharab hein. Her sister, husband, MIL everyone uses her and then tortures her. Angad being the first in line. Now, that he got all that he wanted from her, the mans all set to kick her out.
