What do you think? In a way she is right..looks like he said yes to Mein just like that. I think he doesn't really see what the script is. Because I saw a clip of Hania where she says I love Wahaj. But I suggest he should read script properly..aise kitne scenes we did where I said mai karoongi tum bas react karte jaana or something along that lines šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

He may not read the scripts before signing the projects and does them based on narration, director, producer. But I find it very hard to believe that once he has signed on, he still lacks seriousness or preparation. As that is contrary to what everyone else has said about him.

Every other person he has worked with said how focused he is and how overprepared too. How he overthinks it. FQ had talked about how serious and focused Wahaj was when getting into Hamza's cktr before shooting Fitoor scenes. Hiba said how Wahaj is always asking his co-actors to do rehearsals prior. Both Rabya (Neelo in MPHT) and Hira (Maryam in TB) said how much Wahaj helped them in setting up their scenes right down to the tiniest movements. Sohail Samir (Anwar in TB) said Wahaj overthinks scenes too much. When Tere Bin came, we heard how overprepared Wahaj was for Murtasim's role. Even in MPHT, he was the only one who did any acting and understood his cktr. He was playing Murtasim at the same time as Saad but there was nothing of Murtasim in Saad. Saad was also not same as how Wahaj himself is. Now I am supposed to believe that an actor who performed a character with their own body language, way of crying, talking, smiling and interacting (distinct from his other cktr and his own real self) is not serious or prepared.

Maybe what Hania meant was that he doesn't memorize lines but improvises them? Because based on what I have heard other actors say about Wahaj in their past ivs, I do not buy this brand new narrative about his lack of seriousness and commitment to his craft. His unprofessionalism. This new narrative has begun to only emerge in last few months. Before that no one ever said any of these things about him. And now neutrals like you are parroting that same narrative.

That’s when he really when he really started rejecting the marriage. The problem is that MJ would probably go back to being exactly how she is yelling and screaming, although Zaid is probably the only one who can make her speechless. Someone like that would be extremely hard to live with if they don’t get those toxic emotions in check. It was this second marriage thing that forced her to calm down (through meds and willpower) and change. Sadly it was her desperation that forced her to change. The fake nice was too much but she seems to be balancing her attitude more now - she’s more real. I agree that Zaid is overlooking those flaws now. Maybe that was the point of that scene where he looks disapprovingly at MJ through the glass but he’s okay with her later on.

Yep. That’s the thing isn’t it? It’s sad but whatever happened to them post marriage and is still happening is so important for them to evolve and to finally be compatible. They both have loyalty and commitment as good traits but there’s a lot between them that never aligned. Especially MJ’s tendency to go dark side.

The second marriage is actually the first *real* chance they’ve gotten - because Zaid has finally let go of his resentment for MJ and MJ has had some serious humbling down. Of course the growth is still incomplete but at least it’s underway. A lot of tricks and truths have still to come to light so I’m waiting for those moments - when they’re truly and completely honest. I think they’ll just warm up to each other and consummate the marriage in Turkey (fingers crossed that we finally get some chemistry), but I think the real reckoning will come when they get back home to face the chaos surrounding Ayra. That will be the true test of their relationship. That’s the part I want to see.

I don’t know if it’s going to be harassment or some other kind of tragedy (maybe Ayra dies. It’s possible) but I don’t think Zaid is going to have any tolerance for the events responsible for it. He might even break. As much as I want Zaid to evolve as well and have his big moments, I think, in true Zanjabeel fashion, she will put the entire burden on the female protagonist- MJ - to set things right and it’ll basically be the real MJ redemption arc that I’m waiting for. This is the part I’m excited for and I want to get to it quickly. Because that will be the real MJ - unveiled and changed and for the first time, NOT doing something for herself. This will be the MJ I can get on board with and adore. Which getting to, I think, is the whole point of this drama lol. So far I definitely enjoy MJ but I’m not sure if I ā€œlikeā€ her. You know? Idk when we will get there though. Its already episode 26ish :(

MJ has changed, so she won't be the same screaming toddler now.

She's thinking more now and reacting less...the whole idea of psychologist is to show she's getting help and changing her attitude, I guess. So she won't go back to her old self.

Didn't know there was a narrative like that.

I feel Wahaj needed a break with this show. So this was not a bad decision. He has done a very good job of portraying Zaid and actually even Saad. I don't think Hania meant he's unprofessional...may be she meant the script required not much dialogues from him and he had only reactions to give. So Wahaj should read scripts to know how many dialogues he will actually get ..I feel both Saad and Zaid have used his acting prowess more ...silent characters who emote well.

If Ayra can let it go, tou Zaid kya cheez hai šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ Daddy’s boy through n through lol

Not for long though. Asif will be back to his criminal ways soon enough šŸ˜‰ Let’s see what Zaid’s answer to him will be now. Perhaps they do spine transplants in Turkey and he can get one before it’s time to head back šŸ˜‚

I’ve noticed the same, that his costars say that he is very professional and doesn’t just try to improve his own performance but helps others with theirs too. It sounds like he tries to enhance the whole scene. Watching the bts for Mein, you can still see that he is dedicated to the craft. He does not appear burnt out like some people think. His character is burnt out but for some reason that’s being blamed on Wahaj. Maybe it’s the lack of dialogue written for him. He also looks quite dedicated in the bts scenes, he’s consulting costars, getting clarification and seems to try to insert expressions. I think he’s doing a great job as Zaid and I like him in the role. People do like seeing him more prominent so maybe it’s a matter of gauging what fans expect of him now.

Actually,I feel he has stood up to his dad enough times and would be growing that attitude if Ayra had not put him back in the cage.

Ageed but I think Saad had the advantage of us knowing his perspective. He had his diaries and his conversations with his sister for us to know where his head is at. He even had a heart to heart with his mom when things were going further south in his life. This helped the audience get clarity on his point of view. We don’t have the same with Zaid. Personally I found the scenes effective especially the ones of him being a silent observer. Also I like his reactions in response to what his dad says. Now though, I feel we’re ready to hear things from his perspective. Some lines would help!

Yeah I don’t see her going back. That’s why that bts of an upcoming scene surprised me. I still think it’s a deleted scene or a flashback.
